Worst customer service experience in my life, thier front desk staff are so unprofessional, uncooperative, and balantantly disrespectfully rude. i was making a call to the front desk to try and get assisitance from another staff in another department and encounter the worst staff their VERNICE, dispite me having to wait as the phone ran for 10 plus rings before getting answer, this unprofessional woman VERNICE answered and just transfers me off into obilivion where the phone just ran out no one picked up. So i hung up and attempted to call back front desk and get help again and still same result transfered to oblivion with no answer. So i call back and told VERNICE what was happening and if i can get a warm transfer instead of been transfered over to a line and no answer, VERNICE flat out told me no she will not be doing that and she cant help me with a tone that was quite offensive. It was 9pm at night on july 20 2024. I then asked Vernice are you not there as customer service and she flat out told shes not assisting me, so i asked her name and she gladly told me and spelled it out as if she knows she can disrespect a client and there will be no reprimand for that. Pineapple i am so disappoint that as one of your first points of contacts for guest or potential clients you have this kind of employee there, your front desk service is failing horribly and i dont recommend anyone coming here if this is the level of respect people are been treated with. Vernice is the employees name and she should be fired as she has no respect and i hope they are able to find the call which should be recored and pulll the call and hear how she handle the companies representation cause it was deplorable!!! There are good and bad things about this property but the bottom line is that it is not a 4 star property as described. It lacks amenities usually associated with 4 star places. There is no room service, not even for a coffee/croissant breakfast on your balcony. The mini bar is not stocked with anything. It does have a great coffee shop with attentive staff. The food is OK to good. We ate at a la carte restaurants for dinner all week which was a plus for us. The beach is very nice and well kept. We were disappointed with pickleball activities. They have 6 beautiful courts but only program 1 event per week. They do not have a tennis/pickleball pro. This is the first (supposedly 4 star) resort that we have been to that does not have a resident pro. Other resorts that have a pro program activities every day so that the courts are used. At this resort, they mostly sit empty. The Outhouse restaurant hs great views but the food is only ordinary. Our first room was a water view that was gorgeous but was not renovated and had only lukewarm water for showers. We had terrible noisy neighbours so had to move - not the resorts fault but in both buildings you could easily hear sounds from adjacent rooms. They charge a ridiculous, outrageous 'resort fee' when you check out. When I asked what it was for the answer was to upgrade facilities. I don't expect to pay a resort fee at an all-inclusive property. This fee is a very good reason to stay away from this resort. There are much better 4 star resorts with way more amenities in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Cuba. These would be a much better choice. Read less

Having just left the resort 4 days ago, I am compelled to write a well deserved review for this amazing all inclusive adults only beach resort. Located on beautiful Long Bay in the northeast part of Antigua, the beach is picturesque and sparkling with its turquoise water and bookended by cliffs and hillsides. This being low season, we found the room rates to be very reasonable (even having to get two rooms for the 3 of us). It was so user-friendly to book online. When we arrived at the resort (no free transfer from the airport), we were served a ice cold towel and a refreshing drink in the reception room. Having booked beachfront rooms, we were delighted to be upgraded to waterfront rooms where the private patio opened up to the Atlantic Ocean and literally steps away from the beach, pools, and main areas of the resort. Immediately you can see how clean and well maintained the facilities and landscaping are. The beauty of Pineapple Beach Club is the perfect size of it, not too expansive but big enough to contain all the amenities needed and cozy enough to feel laid back and personable. The mgmt team and employees complete the aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere! The ability to visit the next door sister resort, Verandah, was so fun as a change of pace and beach, but we all agreed Pineapple was better. Here are my highlights: (A) Room: clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. We loved walking into our room to the refreshing air conditioning. Hot water plentiful in the shower. One room had a broken latch and maintenance fixed it less than 1 hour after we reported it. (B) Food: during our 6 days, we ate a variety of buffet and a la carte dinners. Happy to report that the food is of a high quality, fresh, creative, and tasty. We especially liked the Pineapple Grill and the Topaz alacarte. We never grew tired of the bfast buffet (Barrymore makes delicious omelettes!). The wait staff is so attentive, friendly, and put in the extra effort to bring drinks from the nearby bar. We regretted eating at the Caribbean casual lunch at the Outhouse on our last day bc we were in a rush, bc that place has so much character and the food hit the spot. We especially must mention the Cafe 1706 coffee bar (where we eagerly ordered little munchies and fruit cups as well as aromatic cold and hot drinks made by Annetta!) and the Pelican grill (where we loved the ability to grab snacks even up to 11 pm and Sherry-Anne makes a delicious burger). The 4th of July street party also had wonderful food, like mussels and shrimp! (C) Drinks - kudos to the entire bar staff for their ability and patience to make us delicious drinks! (D) Entertainment - the guest services puts on a great entertainment like karaoke, live performances, etc. My kids and I especially enjoyed playing pool and wall scrabble and we took part in a couple of the fun daytime activities (bead making and aloe vera) (E) Fitness center / gift shop - this is hands down one of the best workout centers I’ve seen in hotels and resorts. Clean and good equipment and air conditioned and tennis courts are well maintained. Gift shop was really well stocked and they’ll mail your postcards for you. (F) Excursions - plenty of fun activities on the island, all at the fingertips of Marvin and his team who are at the beach until 1 pm each day. Marvin booked us a combo ziplining and stingray city excursion that blew our minds. We then booked a 5-hr land tour with Marvin and he had Jerry take us on an educational and eye opening trip around various beaches, sights, and local roti restaurant. Couple things to critique: the Chef Pietro alacarte Italian dinner was a bit of a disappointment bc there were only a few truly Italian dishes; guest services desk should remain open for a couple more hours so that immediately upon check in later arriving guests can book restaurants; beach towels were a bit hard to come by and not restocked during room cleaning. These are nitpicks because Pineapple BC really was the MVP of our Antigua trip. Read less

Then they make you wait for a golf cart to take you to your room. I recommend as soon as you get your room, go make reservations for dinner. On property, the pineapple grill is the best. But what they won’t tell you is that you can make dinner reservations for their sister resort The Veranda. The staff was very rude and would not help one bit. All they wanted was for you to tell them exactly what you wanted and then go away. They had no suggestions and were absolutely atrocious. This was true throughout most of the island. I would recommend going to another island all together. Read less

Quiet resort on a beautiful soft, sandy beach. Loved the water activities and pools. The meals were good with several options. Overall a great experience!
