Absolute bliss. Wow what a holiday we have had (myself partner and 2 children, age 1 and 4). Hurricane - We were told straight away Drifters (the beach bar) was badly affected by the hurricane. There was a temporary bar set up so didn’t effect pool/ beachside drinks. I cannot explain how hard working the staff were to rectify this, and by day 2 of our holiday all the decking was fixed and it had a whole electric rewire! From then on food and entertainment was also available here! Food - We dined in Rachel’s for breakfast with the host Beverley welcoming us with a morning smile everyday, Rachel’s has a great variety of food and there is something for everyone. At breakfast you give the time you would like to eat tea at (and where) and we also ordered our kids meals then too for earlier on so they didn’t need to wait until a late tea time! We also ate at Chopstix and Drifters during our stay- we did not eat one bad meal. The food is incredible, and it’s clear to see the chef loves his job as he spends a lot of time mingling with the guests and wants honest feedback - which from us was always positive as we loved it all. Our youngest has a dairy allergy, and although the food signs at the buffet weren’t labelled with allergens there was always someone available to ask about her allergy. We brought our own milk and snacks with us for her as airlines give an extra allowance for allergies. She did not have a problem once from eating in the hotel whilst away, which is massive for me as I am normally the only person that cooks / provides food for her. I felt safe and comfortable and knew the staff took her allergy seriously. Kids club - The staff here; Tara and Melissa were honestly such a blessing. The amount they care about children just shines through them both. Making crafts (picture frames, bags, luggage tags), playing games, endless toys , giving cuddles, putting on their favourite tv show. They really spend time getting to know your child over their holiday. And with the heat a 4 and 1 year old do need time in the Air Conned kids club every now and then! We did need to stay in the kids club if our youngest was there, but there was a sofa for us to sit on and a pool table etc. There was also a ‘beach library’ which has anything you’d need for a day at the beach buckets and spades etc, so no need to bring with you as you can just sign them out and use them for the day! Cleaners - Room was cleaned throughly everyday, (mopped, beds changed and clean towels). One day our 4 year old was having a nap and the cleaner said ‘no problem i’ll just clean quietly around him’! Honestly so kind so we didn’t miss out on a clean. Hotel was also always very clean and well maintained they do a fantastic job. Staff - all staff were incredible! Everyone was super friendly, smiley, welcoming and had positive attitudes which is what you want on holiday. They could not do enough for you and always wanted to make sure you were having a great time! Anais and Jamar instantly put a smile on your face but all staff were 10/10 there are too many that went out of their way to make sure we had a great time to name! Pool - Pools were clean, didn’t ruin our swimwear and the greenery around the lazy river was well maintained. Pools are only 3ft which was perfect for us with 2 young children. Even managed to swim laps in the lazy river myself and it was deep enough for this. Beds - Beds were comfy, however I think they aren’t quite doubles. Baby cot was provided and was great to have a proper wooden cot with a nice thick mattress than a travel cot we normally get provided on holidays. All in all, we had an amazing time in and out of the hotel exploring the island. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and can’t wait to come again in the future! x Read less

Staff were super friendly & super helpful from LeRoy, Theresa, LorryAnn, Beverley to name a few. We had no internet for a while & Leroy made sure we were up & running fast and ensured we were happy throughout. The food was fantastic with breakfast an absolute highlight, fresh fruit daily. Staff were cleaning from early in the morning till late at night. Hurricane Beryl had messed up their beach & decking but they had workmen in over 2 days/nights and it was usable again. Entertainment was so much fun with karaoke, Miss Sally, limbo just great for families. You need to get involved. They also had Al La carte menus in their Japanese fusion restaurant chopsticks & Rachels their main restaurant. Top quality and tasty. Kids club was cool & engaging for our 11 year old and staff there made a real effort with her. Leroy & his team went above & beyond to make us happy…. Beach was full of seaweed but 7 mins walk in either direction were gorgeous sandy beaches and clear blue seas. We did some fantastic excursions booked via the hotel & swam with sting rays. Although the spa was closed they arranged massages in our room. Highly recommend this medium sized, Uber friendly beautiful hotel. Wish we were still there….we will be returning. Read less

The big plus for us was the friendliness of the staff, they were exceptional, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble, Just to mention a few names. In the bar, Jamar, Shammi, Gabi, Analis and Susannah. In the restaurant, Beverly, Alisha, Glen and Roger. A big thank you also to Ronald the executive chef. We arrived at Savannah Beach Club Hotel and Spa shortly after Hurricane Beryl brought havoc to much of the island, this included the hotel which lost much of its bar area by the sea. We were told of this by the hotel manager upon arrival and the steps the hotel had taken to minimise impact on guests, including a temporary bar area that had been set up in addition to the hotel's other bar and restaurant which was operating normally. The steps taken by management to present a fully functional hotel complex were first class and worked perfectly, and staff could not do enough to ensure a perfect stay. Rooms are a good size and well maintained, restaurants serve a wide variety of foods and have different choices according to night. It was also impressive watching the round the clock work undertaken to get the Drifters bar by the sea up and running after Beryl. New decking and a complete re-wire were done with amazing speed and effort. Big shout out to all the hotel staff, particularly Richard and Torrence who looked after me at both bars Read less

We had room 371 that over looked the beach so we had a nice view when sat on the balcony. Weather was hot everyday only experiencing 2 periods of rain that lasted 5 minutes and were round 19.30 in the evening so didn’t spoil laying on the beach or around the pool.Every member of staff were friendly and very helpful in all areas and polite at all times. A couple of staff need a mention Samantha at meal times and Tiffany serving drinks and making a very good Pina colada but to be fair everyone could do with a mention as they were all so helpful. The food was plentiful and varied and always fresh. All we can advise is have a look at what is available a the buffet before choosing as there is a good choice We will def be back Read less
