The hotel

Where is it

Located between the Caribbean Sea and the Lagoon of Bahia Petempich in the Yucatan Peninsula. Only 15 miles away from South Cancun. 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Transfer time from airport: 15 minutes.

Who needs a swim up bar when you have Mar serving you drinks ALL day. One of the best servers we have had at any resort. She memorized who we were and what we drank within the first day of our stayed. We were spoiled!!! She deserves more accolades that I can give her in one review. Thank you Mar!

This was our first time at Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa! We are UVC members and have been to several other properties and the service here was exceptional! We were greeted with a cold towel and a drink upon arrival and assisted by Marcos! He was extremely helpful and got us right to the Preferred Club. We were then met by Sergio with UVC and Juan Carlos in the Preferred Club. They were both very attentive and got us a beautiful Master Suite. We were met every day with happy people who were genuinely happy to see us! We would like to shout out several staff that made our trip exceptional. Bailey and Fabian at the pool had our space ready for us every morning! Bailey even moved our stuff for us to a better location without us asking. It was above and beyond! Love them both!!! Next is Mar! She is the absolute best pool/beach server we have ever had. She was always quick to refresh our drinks and make sure we had water throughout the day! One day she noticed I hadn't eaten much that day and she when to the Barefoot Grill to get me a pizza without me asking! Above and Beyond! We will be back just for Bailey, Mar and Fabian! Servers Jose and Alberto at Rosewater were great! Always had our food and drinks quick! One day Jose brought us some chips and guac which was a surprise! Steven from the Entertainment Team always kept us laughing and we enjoyed the water aerobics every day! Our UVC Rep, Jeffet, was so helpful and took us for our UVC Update to Secrets Maroma! It was a lovely visit and he was there getting us the best deal on our upgrade. One concierge, David found us every day at the pool and asked us how our stay was so far and if there was anything we needed. It was so nice that he checked in every day! The employees at this resort made our stay memorable. Special shoutout to Lorena Luna our UVC Concierge who checked in with us daily and made herself available to assist with any of our requests. Mar at the pool and Christian at Rosewater were simply amazing!
