Where is it

Situated on Meedhuffushi Island in the South Nilandhe Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 35 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

The Deluxe Beach Villas feature an outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, in-built sofa bed, a spacious in-room closet, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All-Inclusive includes: breakfast at Aqua Restaurant. Lunch at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Daily afternoon tea. Dinner at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Unlimited soft drinks, tea and coffee; draught beer, selected spirits, house wine, and selection of cocktails. Complimentary mini bar replenished once daily. Jacuzzi Deluxe Beach Villas feature a bathroom jacuzzi as well as outdoor shower, swinging sofa on the beach, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Beach Villas with Pool are located on the beach with a private pool, swinging sofa on the beach, outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Reef Villas are overwater villas featuring with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Reef Villas are the same as above, facing in the direction of the sunset.

Aqua Villas with Pool are overwater villas featuring a private pool and overwater hammock, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Water Villas with Pool feature a private infinity edge swimming pool on an oversized sun deck, ocean views and steps down to the lagoon. With 1 king-size bed, separate lounge area and a bathroom with separate shower, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Two Bedroom Water Villa with Pool - situated at the end of the overwater jetty, features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room with dining area. Plus outside features a private pool, daybed, loungers and dining table.

As we sit in the restaurant for the final time, we reflect on a wonderful trip. The resort has been incredible with amazing trips to view coral reefs, brimming with colourful fish or sunset trips to watch schools of dolphins wishing to show off at the side of our boat. The food, at the main restaurant and the 2 speciality restaurants has been superb and the staff were incredible, always wanting to do something extra to improve our day. Our guide for the hotel, Niyaaf, was always on hand to help us with anything we needed and he was always ready on What’s App to help us with anything from booking a table to taking a trip or just telling us the best places to snorkel. On a final note, the snorkelling is amazing on the island and wherever you jump into the sea, you will see huge numbers of beautiful fish and turtles if you are lucky. I stayed at Sun Suiam Vilu Reef for one week. We stayed in beach villa , just a few steps from one of the best reef I’ve ever seen. Villa is spacious and very good looking. It hs been clean twice a day fwith the maximum care, our housekeeper (Mr. Basnet room n.135) took care for every room needed and also refill water and everything we need, and above all he is so kind and always smile to the guest and he is very polite. Our Island Host Didi was perfect, he took care about everything we needed about restaursant reservation, tours, information about everything was happening to the island. I have to send a special thank to Didi because he knows how to feel his guests at home far form home. The Resort is wonderful and foof is so tasty. Absolutely fell in love with our stay in Maldives! 🇲🇻 first time in Maldives and Vilu Reef and team made this holiday simply amazing. Thathi our island host was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and assisted at every step. Suhail and the Aqua team (Ayman, Vijay, and so many others) are truly hospitable and made us feel at home everyday. Basnet is truly an artist, he drew amazing turndown drawings that are just incredible. The dive team took us on an adventure of a lifetime (manta rays and whale shark). Novi and the spa team - these girls are trully amazing, always smiling, best massages and just created the best spa escape. The fnb manager was there to check the experience and is passionate about his job. It was my birthday and the team went above and beyond with many greetings, Surprise cake and fresh flowers, beautiful spa treatment and a lucky dolphin cruise with spinner dolphins during sunset - a birthday to remember.
