Where is it

Located on the south coast of the island. 10 minutes drive from the capital city Bridgetown. Transfer time from Grantley Adams International Airport: 20 minutes.

Hotel information

24 rooms.  All rooms have air conditioning, TV, WIFI, iPod docking station, mini fridge, safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making facilities and have ocean facing terraces. SoCo Rooms have 1 king-size bed and pull out sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults. All inclusive includes: à la carte breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at the Ocean Front restaurant, and unlimited selected alcoholic beverages at the beach bar. 
SoCo Deluxe Rooms are larger and have more privacy, with 1 king-size bed and pull out sofa, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Ocean Front Restaurant (a la carte Caribbean and International cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus daily afternoon tea). Soco Bar. Weekly manager's cocktail party. 

Swimming pool. Spa. Daily tours, cruises and excursions*

Complimentary WiFi is available in all public areas and rooms. Laundry/ dry-cleaning service*.

A Tourism Fee will be charged per bedroom, per night and will be collected at check out. The rate is subject to change by the Government, and varies by hotel room. Fees currently range from 8.75 Barbadian dollar (approximately £3.90) to 35 Barbadian dollar​ (approximately £16.00) per bedroom, per night.

My birthday trip to Barbados and my stay at The Soco Resort – was unbelievable- we felt very welcome. The Resort is very clean, well-kept from the room, bed with a view to die for. Most of all the people- who took good care of us and made every day special for my husband and I Michelle- such a beautiful person inside out, she made sure we had everything we need, booking our trips, recommending places for us to go, making our special drinks, greeting us and making sure my birthday set up was done which made me feels special. Her rum tasting which we miss, but could still the crowd at the bar having fun and singing – Thank you so much Lolene- Everyday you were there for us, making sure we were served everything we asked for. My special request of Cou-Cou and fish was done for my special day – thanks so much for you. I watched you multi-task amoung your staff, nothing was to much for you to do- As a supervisor, you were helping every staff on board while managing everything, I loved that. Kim- Girl you were great- you know my picky husband – you serve him with a smile every day – you are great at what you do, keep smiling- we need more like you, and the two other girls who I did not get their names- please thank them for me. Shane Shane Shane, you are the entertainer of the hotel. Every night you brought the night alive with your music, dance move and that smile. You made sure everyone was having a good time at the bar. Everyone could not wait for you to come in to work– and a BIG Thanks to the Aquatic class you give us. You are a keeper. Zack- You are a gentle man with class, who serve everyone- the night live with you was super super cool, we enjoyed every moment of your time, you made sure every one at the bar was serve and I noticed that you were multitasking making sure the gap were fil. - thank you Everyone at this hotel works extremely hard, and I hope that they are compensated very well. I would go back and recommend this hotel, it’s like family – I miss everyone of them- and planning to go back 2025. I would like to make some recommendations- to management: • The bar should always have finger food • More daily entertainment • A TV and Ceiling fan at the bar Read less

All the staff both front of house and housekeeping and kitchen were friendly and smiling and good at their job's. Food was very good not one bad meal. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but would benefit from being redecorated. The bar area does need a major overall. Within walking distance of shops and bank and with a local bus stop outside. One good tip for those not wanting to take home dirty laundry see Wanda at the laundrette on Balmoral Gap Read less

The pool area was also fantastic. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The housekeepers were fun to chat with and very friendly as well as the staff in the restaurant and bar. Make sure to check out Michelle's rum tasting event on Wednesday while you are there and be sure to introduce yourself to Shane the barman as he is a very charming man and who will make sure your cocktails are never empty. I will be happy to return to this hotel in the future for many reasons but most of all to visit the welcoming staff again. Read less

Incredibly friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Location is superb, right on the beach. Pool bar overlooks sea, perfect for cocktails and relaxing. Food was pretty good. A room was made available for showers etc before our flight at no extra charge. Would certainly stay there again.
