The room was very small and dated. I stayed on the 10th floor and the hallway rug was moldy and smelled bad. No balcony. The bathroom fixtures were corroded. The staff were all pleasant and responsive. The food was just okay. The “beach” is really not a beach. It is a small man made cutout from the main water. There were not enough umbrellas on… Read more

The day of the 4th of July BBQ there were a lot of flies so we did not eat the food. The pool was clean. The entertainment was minimal. I think the staff were all nice and I appreciated their efforts, however I would not stay here again. Read less

The hotel is marketed as a tranquil place with excellent amenities. If you like booming music played all throughout the day outside courtesy of the activities staff, in the lobby before dinner and in the nearby function room all evening, then this is the ‘tranquil’ place for you. Having mentioned it to reception staff, the response was just that some guests come here to party and ask for the music to be turned up and if you want to be away from the music during the day, go around the corner of the hotel (away from the main pool and beach) and spend your time there. So it was really not the experience we were expecting. The staff on the whole were nice though, especially the towel ladies by the pool. There are some activities put on everyday that don’t involve constant music and there is a good array of food choices for the evening. But book ahead if you don’t want the buffet dinner option.
