We had a two week family (age 10 & two older teenagers) holiday at Cobblers Cove and couldn't recommend it more highly. Everything from our greeting upon arrival, (including correspondence prior to arrival), clean beautiful bedrooms, lovely food, great location, exceptionally beautiful gardens and most importantly ALL the staff are friendly and helpful. All the facilities are great and everything is in good condition and well maintained. We arranged a sailing cruise and deep sea fishing trip with reception which was quick and easy. My husband and son caught a huge King Fish and tentatively took it to the kitchen asking if the chef could cook it. Oh my goodness, he put in so much effort, marinading it all afternoon and preparing an amazing meal for us. The usual watersports are available and I was impressed with the guys working there, very attentive and professional and actually keeping their eye on people out on the water. It's a lovely cosy hotel, not too big not too small, felt very luxurious and relaxing but enough for the kids to entertain themselves with, although to be honest being able to swim with so many fish and turtles right on the beach was enough. The best place we have stayed in Barbados so far so conflicted as don't want it to get too difficult for me to book again!!!! So go somewhere else everyone please :-) Read less

No delay in being taken to our room, our luggage already waiting allowing us to get settled in. The entire place was clean and tidy. The staff takes a lot of pride in the hotel. We had a ocean front room and we loved having a cup of coffee on the deck each morning. The breakfast was amazing as well as our beautifully presented meals. Given the resort is on the west side of the island, the view of the sunsets each night was amazing. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had bar food a couple of times during our stay, both were great. We had a wonderful stay at Cobblers Cove and we'd definitely recommend. A perfect stay. Read less

Beautifully furnished. Looks amazing. Our room was great. But the whole experience was spoilt by patchy service throughout and the fact that we were constantly hassled by certain staff for tips. Generally the more surly and senior the member of staff the more overt the hassling for tips. It was literally relentless towards the end of our stay. This was galling because we did tip throughout our two week stay. It left a really nasty taste and gave the sense a) that tipping was necessary to secure good service and b) that staff were competing for favour and tips rather than working collegiately and c) this was a problem of management: all was not well in the management of the front of house/client facing elements of the operation which seemed very laissez faire. Exceptional service of the highest caliber! The team was outstanding, with Katisha shining brilliantly. We sought an experience and gained a family. Every visit to Cobbler’s Cove before the event was met with unparalleled understanding and service. From day one, they made us feel completely at ease, greeting us by name and assisting with last-minute preparations. When it mattered most, the entire staff united to deliver a magnificent event. We were overjoyed. From the bar staff to the landscaping team, the water sports crew to housekeeping, everyone contributed to creating the event of our dreams, even amid a thunderstorm. We are thrilled—we came for a service and left with friends. This was undoubtedly the finest hotel experience I've ever had. All the guests felt the warmth of the staff and left praising Katisha and her team for their excellent work. Katisha and Dionne are truly a dynamic duo, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Wow what a stunningly beautiful and sophisticated hotel! So much character we absolutely loved the decor. You can tell all the little details have really been thought about. It’s not your average high end hotel as it still had a boutique feel and its own unique charm. The setting of the hotel is beautiful having the calm sea right there for daily swimming was lovely. The sunbeds were super comfy for all day lounging. We had an ocean front suit which was amazing but the grounds of the hotel are so beautiful that even the garden rooms had a great view. The staff were attentive and super friendly. Excellent selection for breakfast and daily afternoon tea was a touch too. Yes it’s expensive but you expect to pay more in Barbados. We stayed in low season so the rates were on offer and we thought it was totally worth the money. The hotel was quite quiet and not overcrowded with guests so definitely added to the relaxed vibe. It was a blissful and memorable stay. Would return in a heartbeat! Read less
