The hotel

This Caribbean-style resort is right on the banks of the picturesque Lake Davenport and it's laid out over 70 acres of landscaped gardens, making it a truly beautiful place to stay. It even has its own beach on the banks of the lake! The apartment-style condos are exceptionally well equipped and you'll really have no need to eat out, but if you don't want to cook there's a great restaurant on site. This resort is a fantastic place to be if you're the sporty type, with volleyball, basketball, tennis to contend with. Kids will love the playroom and games arcade, while adults can relax and listen to soft Caribbean music by the pool, or take advantage of the fabulous new spa, offering a myriad of treatments and a fitness centre to boot. At the end of the day, the clubhouse balcony is an ideal spot to watch the Disney fireworks light up the sky.

This resort is really nice and with a few alterations could be so much better. Overall the grounds are really well maintained, clean and tidy. Mambos bar is no longer open, but no explanation why. Tradewinds bar and restaurant is great and really well priced, the strawberry daiquiris and pizzas were lovely, but it closed at 8pm, if it stayed open… Read more

The issue we and others experienced is that there were insufficient loungers at the pool where Tradewinds is, therefore people went to the pool at the club house but mambos is closed so they couldnt buy any drinks. If mambos reopened so people had more than one place to eat and get drinks and there was more seating on the beach, and Tradewinds stayed open until 10 this resort would be so much better. Read less

Lot of apartments for sale at New Higher prices, many have taken the money and run.. New owners looking for higher rental prices making the place for regulars too high. Can be noisy at times,not what it used to be,management slow to deal with problems. Good luck to the owners looking for silly prices and big profits.

Always loved BB but not so much anymore. The place was overcrowded with obnoxious baseball players and their parents. Drinking and yelling and screaming all hours. There was even a fight a the pool. Always loved BB but not so much anymore. The place was overcrowded with obnoxious baseball players and their parents. Drinking and yelling and screaming all hours. There was even a fight a the pool. Loud noise all night long and we kept switching bedrooms to try a find quiet. To no avail. Could never find peace at any of the pools. So much so we had to leave property on several occasions and go to other resorts to enjoy a day at the pool. We never had this experience before at BB but this was enough for us to seek staying elsewhere next winter. UNLESS owners and management get their act together. Read less

We had fun there lots of options for kids to play and swim. it was clean and nice place for us. We enjoyed the resort and close Orlando parks. Easy to navigate and parking. Overall, it is worth the money and good place to have a vacation close to parks.

Very nice place. There was a leak in the ceiling & the place was outdated but it served its purpose. It was fairly clean & felt safe. The resort amenities were nice. I would stay there again.
