Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities of this big-city establishment. From the buzz at the superb breakfast to the laid back pool bar, and the helpful concierge staff, all our needs were met. Would recommend The President Hotel to anyone visiting Capetown

A fantastic stay at the President Hotel. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of our Honeymoon and would highly recommend this hotel in Cape Town. From check in to check out everything was faultless and if there were any issues it was a quick call and it would get resolved. The staff were amazing. A fabulous welcome from the staff at The President Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed great service. Our spacious room overlooked the pool ( a little too fresh for my British bones!) and included a sofa area in which to relax. The breakfast and bar staff were especially welcoming. Thanks, guys. This is a perfect pitstop for a short Cape Town visit. It is a large hotel in Bantry Bay, a short drive from Cape Town’s hustle and bustle, but we enjoyed the promenade walks and local night life in Sea Point too. If you want boutique, try somewhere else. For two British tourists arriving on a late flight, The President pulled out all the stops to make our stay perfect. Read less

Great location, pity about the service. Booked a family room, the room was spacious but was not made up for the children upon arrival. I notified reception and they said the bed would be made in the evening. Went for dinner and returned around 9.30pm - no beds made up. Notified reception and said they would send someone - waited 30min and called… Read more

I notified reception and they said the bed would be made in the evening. Went for dinner and returned around 9.30pm - no beds made up. Notified reception and said they would send someone - waited 30min and called again. Finally someone arrived with bedding for 1 child - single duvet. Apparently they had not been notified. I requested another duvet, pillow and towel as I have 2 children. The man scurried away and I didn’t see him for ages. By 10.30pm I called reception again and was diverted straight to housekeeping - no apology nothing. The housekeeping team arrived and apologised. Reception not great. I probably would not stay here again, rooms very tired and service poor. Read less
