After several visits to the President Hotel over the last number of years, mainly with small groups of overseas guest, we have had the absolute pleasure of visiting again in August with a small group of Canadian friends, all of which had the pleasure to visit Cape Town and the President Hotel already in 2016. Upon arriving very late around 2300h in the evening of 14 August following a grueling 36 hours journey from Toronto ,Ontario, you can imagine our amazement, having booked 5 standard Sea facing rooms initially, to find out that Nadia from guest services had effected an upgrade to 1 bedroom suites with magnificent views for our 4 night stay...what a welcome back present!! Whilst unexpected, this great gesture only reminded us all as to why we chose the president Hotel again for our stay in Cape Town, having already encountered a wonderful service from Nadia and her team during our past visit, it would however be very interesting as to how she remembered our names to start with? Good service is all too often just taken for granted and go goes unmentioned, yet we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to Nadia for having made our stay even more memorable and better than the first was already. Keep up the wonderful service and personal engagement! Greeting from Ontario! Read less

I can see why our tour company books this hotel. The rooms are spacious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. I met people from several other tours and groups staying at the President, and all had the same, very favorable comments. We had one of our most important events at the President Hotel on Monday 16 September. It was a launch of a new range and we hosted 100 of our most valued clients. Not only did we choose this venue because of it's beauty, but also because I've only ever received the best service. From driving through the entrance gate where its an absolute pleasure to be welcomed by the most professional and friendly security staff from Integrisec Security, to the security staff from the same company receiving you at the front door, to the waiters and all employees' extreme helpfulness and open friendliness. It makes me proud to be a Capetonian and to show this off to our team members who came to our launch from other regions. I would like to start with saying my thanks to everyone involved in this successful event with where my guests first entered and got their first impression, always lasting. Eugene, owner of Integrisec, you have a great security team there and I know thats not always an easy task as we see many unhelpful unfriendly security officers throughout our country. Well done you can be proud. Security Officers of Integrisec, wonderful service, thank you. Adolf, the Security Manager on site, thank you for assisting me during my set up with my limited knowledge of all things technical. JJ, the Conference Manager who organised everything, form the stunning conference room and the set up of all that entails for such an event, to the delicious breakfast and lunch and for allowing me to relax completely about venue details as everything was just perfect. You are a star. His right hand, Zikhona, who made sure that all planned happened smoothly and for all your assistance in this regard, we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you. Five stars for the chef, amazing food. And last but certainly not least, every single waiter involved was service perfection. I honestly cannot fault one thing or person on this day, and I am certainly not the easiest person to impress. My colleagues from Johannesburg was so impressed, after the event, they booked in as guests to spend the night. I recommend this venue for any conference.
