Prompt and professional service when booking the accommodation and such a warm and friendly welcome when checking in. The room was absolutely lovely and had a breath-taking view. Everything was really wonderful.

Hotel well located in Bantry Bay, a short walk from the beach, restaurants, supermarket and coffee shops. Cheap Uber's can be used to get you around the rest of Cape Town. Felt very safe here. Our well equipped and clean room faced inland but was nice to watch the comings and goings at the hotel entrance. Hotel seems to have a large number of airline crews staying which we found bought the age demographics down and added to the lively atmosphere around the pool and in the bar and on the terrace in the evenings. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Only slight negative was the restaurant at breakfast getting very busy and a wait to be seated (eventually in the bar area used as an overflow). Read less

Moral obviously a real problem here... disappointing as when you are on holidays you don't want to deal with this behaviour! What a shame the staff were so grumpy! Except perhaps the reception staff. Check in was the best 10min of entire 4 night stay! Moral obviously a real problem here... disappointing as when you are on holidays you don't want to deal with this behaviour! Staff (especially management!) were walking around being rude to each other. I don't want to see my waiter being reprimanded infront of me or the manager slamming things around poolside unhappy with presentation All dining service was incredibly slow but meals quite nice. Pool was not clean and very small. Room was large but housekeeping terrible. Towels were not replaced when requested but put back on rack. Bed sheets not changed when requested! But tour desk was most poor.. Tasmin..you are very rude in general and never followed up or wanted to help us in any way. You are also unknowledgable allowing us to go to Table mountain with our afternoon ticket in the morning saying we would be ok to use it, when we couldn't and waited hours in the line only to be turned away. Both staff on tour desk need to consider alternative careers. it is obvious you do not want to be there or assist guests in any way. Read less
