I really didn’t enjoy my stay especially because the room was extremely small but I payed so much money.I also didn’t like the fact that the food wasn’t what I expected it to be and so was the wi-fi it was so slow,I don’t think I would stay there ever again

About a mile from the actual waterfront, we did start to walk there but quickly returned to the hotel after being accosted by a couple of dodgy characters. Thereafter we used the hotel's shuttle bus which ran every half hour from early morning until late evening, always exactly on time with very friendly drivers. Very good bedroom with everything that we needed. Read less

Amazing reception from hotel staff; great welcome to CT. Breakfast could be better; great location; within reach of the buzzing night life of waterfront and city center; highly recommended for short stay.

Lovely hotel. About 15 minutes walk to the Waterfront where there are lots of really good places to eat and lots going on. The shuttle bus was great for evenings picking up and dropping off exactly when they said it was. Staff were lovely especially the two lovely ladies who cooked the eggs. Got the days off to a great start. Good base for… Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4-night stay here. The hotel is pretty and lively and security is taken seriously here too. The buffets were pretty good and room service was inexpensive and very good. The pool area is nice but as the pool was unheated, I didn’t indulge. No matter, Cape Town is too beautiful to stay inside. This hotel is not on the waterfront, (and it isn’t safe or convenient to walk there), but it offers a free shuttle to and from the gorgeous V&A waterfront area. One tip: get to the waiting area early because the shuttle fills up during peak times and it only runs every half hour. The location is also good for grabbing an Uber to the Table Mountain cable cars, (cost is well under $10). The staff is nice and accommodating and housekeeping was solid too. Next time, I will upgrade and stay right at the V & A, but I have no qualms in recommending this hotel. Read less
