A home away from home? This is that and more. With a sophisticated, sleek interior that’s infused with South African vibrancy, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the city – just opposite the Convention Centre if you’re here for business, but also just steps from bars, restaurants and attractions if you’re here for fun. Whichever room type you pick you’ll find yourself with ample space, and a fully equipped kitchenette to cook up a storm. Whilst you’ll feel like you’re in your own apartment, the concierge are on hand downstairs for whatever you need. And if you don’t feel like using your own facilities, the Asian tapas restaurant on the ground floor is definitely worth a visit. Two Bedroom Apartments range from 77 to 102 sqm, with two bathrooms, and the lounge/dining area and kitchenette are separate to the two bedrooms, one of which has 1 king-size bed, and the other has twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Deluxe Two Bedroom Apartments have stunning mountain views from the balcony, with 1 king-size bed and twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

A very comfortable hotel within walking distance of the V&A waterfront. The rooms were well appointed and the food was very good. Dinner in the restaurant was so good that we ate there 2 evenings. The swimming pool was very small. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

This was just perfect for an our base for a family stay in Cape Town. Easy to find. Safe convenient parking. Stunning views of table mountain. A swimming pool the kids loved . . . . And most excellent service. Thank you. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

We love the Onyx - everyone is so very helpful and friendly. The rooms are excellent with all facilities you require. The beds are so comfortable. The on site restaurant Yu is a bonus so after a long journey you don't have to venture out. The food is great

This is a nice apartment hotel. The plus points are that the staff were very helpful and friendly, the living room and kitchen area are large and well equipped. The breakfast was first class. The hotel is opposite the conference centre and if you go left out of the main entrqnce it is fine, going right however leads to a not so nice area. We only turned right once. The hotel has parking which we found useful as we had a car for the last night. The negative points are that the bedroom is stangly shaped so that there is plenty of room to the side of the bed but little room to the base. Getting around the bed was not easy as there is a TV attached to the wall and I banged my head more than once. The bathroom is tiny and may be the smallest bathroom I've ever had in a hotel. Perfect apartment hotel in Cape Town. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, with a full sized kitchen (nice to have but we didn't really use it). A full sized sitting room, two TV's, a very comfortable king sized bed, a compact bathroom and a fabulous view ( we stayed on the 10th floor). It was great after a day of sightseeing to come back to the comfort of this apartment and relax for a bit on the sofa. There is a small indoor/ outdoor pool on the 4th floor and a bar there too. Breakfast on the ground floor was great. Randall checked us into the hotel and made great suggestions as to where to go for dinner. The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the wharf area and the downtown area. Read less
