The hotel

A home away from home? This is that and more. With a sophisticated, sleek interior that’s infused with South African vibrancy, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the city – just opposite the Convention Centre if you’re here for business, but also just steps from bars, restaurants and attractions if you’re here for fun. Whichever room type you pick you’ll find yourself with ample space, and a fully equipped kitchenette to cook up a storm. Whilst you’ll feel like you’re in your own apartment, the concierge are on hand downstairs for whatever you need. And if you don’t feel like using your own facilities, the Asian tapas restaurant on the ground floor is definitely worth a visit. And if you fancy an aperitif, head up to the 4th floor to enjoy a cocktail with stunning views of Table Mountain. Of course you’ll also have to find time in your schedule for a dip in the pool which has both indoor and outdoor sections – perfect whatever the weather! And we haven’t even mentioned the spa…

Hotel sits between the city centre and the V&A waterfront and you can reach both in a 10 minute walk but in the immediate vicinity are only other hotels and a Burger King, so you need to think ahead about where you want to eat at night. Our apartment was a good size, lots of space in separate bedroom, lounge with cooking facilities, shower/toilet room and a large storage closet. Comfortable bed and furnishings with all the expected tv/AC/iron/hairdryer, so a good a good base for the city. Ours faced parking area at side but not an issue for us. Hotel has small pool but you need to take any towels etc you need from your room, no changing facilities. Breakfast in the MKT restaurant provided a very good selection although a bit crowded. We didn't use the Yu restaurant which is oriental cuisine. Staff were helpful and friendly, whole hotel kept very fresh. Read less

Nice Hotel in a quiet and safe area. It's walking distance to the V&A waterfront. The staff are very helpful and friendly. A big thanks to Panashe, Patrick, Abigail, Preston and the guys at The Granite Lounge. We booked the Airport Arrival transfer through the hotel and Douglas, the driver just was awesome.

Our airconditioner wasnt working- the maintenance manager came through and told us that he would return the next day to have it fixed- that didnt happen. Breakfast was quiet limited, what we ordered from the menu was not at all appetizing. The V&A is not walking distance, we had to Uber. All in all an average experience Read less

Fab hotel in the heart of Cape Town. Close to waterfront and all its hip vibes. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Try the Penninsula tour and if you’re really lucky you might get Wellington as your guide. Take sunglasses for the penguin colony as very windy and sandy here. Table top mountain an absolute must see for every adventurer. Take taxis… Read more

What a great hotel, spacious rooms, comfy beds, excellent service with a smile, tasty food on the breakfast on MRKT and also in the asian resturant that belogs to the hotel. Also I enjoyed the SPA treatments. Highly recommended!
