The hotel is perfectly located for r waterfront - 2 minutes walk away. The room was immaculate and has lovely views. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. Then pool was also lovely. All the staff were super-friendly and helpful.

Had a very enjoyable five night stay here in a large, comfortable room with stunning sea view next to the very vibrant water front of Cape Town. The breakfasts were amazing-everything from full English through to sushi, oysters and the widest variety of freshly prepared fruit that I have ever come across in any hotel. The juice bar was particularly impressive where friendly staff poured out amazing juices such as cucumber and beetroot-a welcome change from the ubiquitous orange or grapefruit. The hotel was ideally situated close to a variety of good restaurants (although the evening meal at the hotel was of an excellent standard). It was also close to the Nelson Mandela gateway to Robben Island, the big wheel and just a short walk to the hop on hop off buses which tour CapeTown. We didn’t have time to try out the afternoon tea at Table Bay but were amazed by the beautiful cake creations which were laid out every day. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Read less

The hotels is right on the V&A Waterfront close to many bars, restaurants and sights. All staff were very friendly, especially the concierge. Rooms are spacious. You can see Table Mountain from everywhere in town so we didn’t think it was worth paying extra for the room with that view. Ocean view was very nice. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.… Read more

The swimming pool was on the small side and could get busy fairly quickly. Overall a great hotel which we would highly recommend. Read less

Lovely Hotel, with fantastic outlook either out to sea, or back over the V and A Waterfront. Rooms are large, with big comfy beds. Breakfast was amazing, the biggest buffet you have ever seen, and more items to order if you wanted something else. This is truely 5*.

On the V&A Waterfront with great access to shops, restaurants and the harbour, Table Bay is ultra-luxe and we enjoyed it. You know you're in a swanky gaff when it has a chap opening a red velvet rope for you to gain access to the lifts. And breakfast's offering included oysters, so that had me in raptures from the off. The only shortcoming was when we ordered some sandwiches for lunch prior to our trip to Robben Island, but they hadn't arrived before we had to depart for the boat. They were knocked off our account, as was an incorrectly-billed dinner. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable indeed. And the team have great customer-centricity too. Read less
