We were glad to return to this hotel years after our first visit. The room was beautiful, spacious and had a gorgeous view. The location of the hotel is perfect, linked to the Waterfront shopping centre! We enjoyed the excellent breakfast and of course a massage at the Spa. We will be back!

A hotel can only be as good as the staff and Table Bay has an incredible line up. We would definitely return and recommend Table Bay without hesitation. Read less

We stayed for our second visit to The Table Bay, as an extension organised by Titan Travel to our South African Safari Adventure holiday. The setting, room and food were as wonderful as we remembered from 2014 and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. The marvellous breakfast really sets you up to explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and you are ideally placed to venture further afield. The excellent concierge Jameel, assisted us with arrangements to visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent most of his prison sentence and for car hire to explore down to Cape Point. One of his colleagues, Chelsea was really helpful in sorting out our airport transfer. They are typical of a staff team for whom nothing is too much trouble! One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Look at the view from the patio, it is even better from the bedroom! A top recommendation from me! Read less

The Concierge Desk is so efficient and well organised and will do all they can to meet your requests. Our room was on the 6th floor and had wonderful views of the harbour and Table Mountain. Our room was large, had a lovely bed, furnishings and bathroom. Breakfasts are a delight with a huge range of dishes available.....for example, you want a breakfast juice - well there is a separate juice bar with a choice of 10 different ingredients available. The Lobby is luxurious and spacious and afternoon teas fantastic. Step outside directly onto the wharf and there are numerous restaurants all with high quality, reasonably priced food. There are shops and excellent street musicians in the area, too. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the museum where you can buy tickets for a tour of Robben Island - well worth a visit. If you come to this hotel you will enjoy your time here. I fully recommend this hotel to visitors. Read less

This part of Cape Town is very safe and filled with great restaurants and bars. It also has the wharf for cruise boats to Robben Island. The breakfast at the hotel is amazing, and offers so much variety. Very fresh and replenished regularly. You can place custom orders for special egg dishes, crepes and waffles, as well as being spoilt for choices at the buffet spread and smoothies bar. Staff are a bit hit and miss, but mostly very lovely, and helpful. One or two of the hostesses seemed a bit stand offish, but it wasn’t a big deal. Hotel has lovely lounges and a bar, as well as a pool area and gym. Room was very nice, though not spotless (bit of hair in bathroom for example, when we arrived). Comfy bed, and decent room (we had luxury double). Would definitely stay again, mainly for location, and definitely for the breakfast buffet :) Read less
