What an amazing hotel. Obviously the location is fabulous and so unique. It was a pleasure to wake up to the ocean every morning! The hotel feels a lot bigger than it actually is and the rooms are huge. The spa is one of the best ive ever been to - very professional therapists. But it’s the staff that steal the show here. Breathtaking Views! Spectacular Sunset! Amazing Staff! Arrived to the hotel at 22:30 exhausted, hungry and without luggage. Lola’s hospitality was the most welcoming I’ve experienced in my years of travel. She arranged overnight laundry service as we had no idea when our luggage would arrive. Ranga and Nardus truly go beyond the call of duty to assist with any needs. Jayjay and Lou will get you to and from your destination safely and make great recommendations on local eateries. Charity made sure we had a great view of the sunset while on the balcony and the best seating for the live entertainment. Read less

This is a world class operation! Expensive for Cape Town but worth it as a treat, The sweeping views from the outdoor patio of both the Azure restaurant and the Leopard bar offer sweeping views of the ocean and Lions Head. You feel as if your are on your own private property taking it all in with incredibly attentive service. In previous visit we have stopped by for drink but on this visit we enjoyed lunch, wine and bubbles. The grilled chicken wrap with avocado and pickled onions in probably the best wrap in the world; the Leopards Bowl salad with chicken and an array of roasted, frilled and fresh vegetable is a sensory and taste delight; the fish and chips is perfection. A superb wine and bubbles list. While I adore the patio of the Leopard Bar the inside of the bar is one of Cape Town’ most gorgeous spaces. A definite must but be advised to book even for the bar! Best hotel in South Africa - the view from the Azure restaurant is unbeatable. Stayed here twice now and each time I have absolutely loved it. Recommend the one bedroom suites as they have the best garden area and nearer the spa.

We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast followed by a couples massage in a gazebo on the hillside. The massage was wonderful and my wife and I both left totally relaxed. We purchased some skin lotion and were amazed at the low prices, due to the strong Dollar. South Africa is a true bargain for foreign visitors.
