We wish we had time to use the pools which looked so inviting. The food at Morii was outstanding , by far the best in the southern suburbs .Breakfast included a fresh buffet which was enough for us .In addition a menu avail able in addition . The setting is a tranquil oasis with Mountain View’s & tortoises grazing . So thank you all for our wonderful stay ,we look forward to visiting again Read less

The hotel is located in a residential area with not many bars/ coffee shops or really anything to do near by. Everything you want to do in Cape Town is 20 plus minutes drive away. The rooms are poorly designed the bathrooms need updating/ no full length mirror in the room/ vanity mirror had a pendant light hanging in front of it so it wasn’t usable. The hotel also lacks any atmosphere and is clearly used for corporate functions and conferences which as a tourist who is visiting for leisure wasn’t what I was looking for. All in all very soulless and was much happier once I checked back into a hotel in Camps Bay. Read less

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed anywhere in the world and we are fairly discerning travelers. Not certain why it only has 4 stars and not 5. Would absolutely go back and would very much look forward to it. The website does not give justice to the natural beauty of the place. It's as if one is staying at a tropical Botanical Garden. The lush luxurious plant life and landscaping coupled with the straight on Table Mountain views create a sense of enchantment tranquility and serenity that's hard to find just outside of a major city. Very well worth the tiny commute into the center of Cape Town. The way the walks and gardens are outfitted is so enjoyable and beautiful. Enjoying them was a daily activity for us. And there are also 10 tortoises on the property that are super fun to watch - they crawl around eating and entertaining the visitors. Superb breakfast experience every time with one of the largest buffets we've ever seen. The restaurants are situated with killer mountain views amidst the gardens so we were only sad that we needed to leave the hotel during the day to enjoy the activities of Cape Town but were thrilled to be back each night. Our room was super nice with great mountain views. We also dined at two of the restaurants for dinner, the regular one and the more luxurious one and liked them both. Not sure why the previous reviewer had tough time with service. We found every staff extremely hospitable friendly and nice - from the restaurant servers to the bell man to the valets. The gym also was top top notch - one of the best gyms we've seen outside of the states. Had everything you needed for a great work out and crazy nice killer mountain views. The massages at the spa were also worthwhile. We were fortunate to stay for 6 nights and were sad to leave. Read less

Two things. The service at the Garden Restaurant is atrocious - we got up twice to find a waiter and even went to collect our cocktails at the bar ourselves. The second issue was that our company has attempted at trying to get hold of the hotel to make bookings, but after the third time, we gave up and went elsewhere. I once even escalated to the Reservations Manager. He/she did not bother to return my call. It is a pity. Read less
