I are to agree with most of the comments in the review. It’s a fantastic location and individual owners rent their properties out through the agent on site. I are to agree with most of the comments in the review. It’s a fantastic location and individual owners rent their properties out through the agent on site. Whilst the staff tried hard to book us all in at check in time 15:00 they were short staffed and disorganised. This is the fault of the management and not the staff who tried their best to book 32 people in and 44 out. Security is tight with your own key cards for gates and building access. Underground parking is good. That said our villa was in Juliet and the view across to the One and Only was stunning. However the apartment was tired with a broken lock on the main door that had obviously been broken by force the door frame. This was repaired quickly but only a short term fix. The standard lamp in the lounge was broken and useless. The seal on the fridge was torn and the fridge ran at 9 degrees. The maintenance chap tried to fix this on a Sunday and ordered a new seal but we had gone four days later. We kept the door closed with two teabags wedges between the fridge door and freezer. Success 4 degrees. The location is ideal for the V&A WaterFront being ten minutes away. It’s a shame it’s spoilt by simple things that basically sit squarely with the management company and that’s what owners pay them to resolve. Read less

I have stayed at Waterfront Village many times in the past. Typically, it is a high quality experience. This trip, I have no heat. I got help that was useless last night - the radiant heat I was told would start did not come on. The all-night help failed to respond to a call. . I got help that was useless last night - the radiant heat I was told would start did not come on. The all-night help failed to respond to a call. . I slept in all of my clothes (sweater, T-shirt, slacks, leggings, socks) and ended up with a cold. There are no substitute rooms; I have spent two hours trying to get heat in the morning and I am informed there will be a 100% cancellation fee if I leave the complex. There must be new management; this management is not user-friendly, not responsive, and punitive. Read less

These apartments are mostly owned by private people and, apart from one block where it’s owners only, are available for short or long term rent. So they are all self catering which is great for longer term visits but if you want to join the throng of the waterfront, then it’s just a short distance away. Security is tight to say the least. Stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe apartment on that waterfront. This was an option recommended to us by our travel agent as it works out better value than a hotel. Lovely views from large apartment, clean, daily maid service. Highly recommend. Only negative - The check-in procedure does let it down a bit as it seemed pretty disorganised. Read less

Lovely apartment with fantastic large balcony and great views. No need to take shampoo etc as all is included. Had washing machine and dryer but unfortunately no washing powder 5 mins walk to restaurants, shops. Very secure parking, gated village therefore no one could enter unless had a fob.
