100 apartments across 20 blocks within the V&A Waterfront Marina. All with private balconies or patios, complimentary WiFi access, satellite TV, safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, and fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and toaster, tea/coffee-making facilities, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

1-Bedroom Luxury and Deluxe Apartments feature an open plan dining/living area and canal or waterfront views, with either 1 double bed, 1 queen-size bed, 1 king-size bed, or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

2-Bedroom Luxury and Deluxe Apartments feature waterfront or canal views and two bathrooms, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

3-Bedroom Luxury and Deluxe Apartments feature waterfront or canal views and two bathrooms, sleeping maximum 6 people.

Lots of excellent restaurants in the surrounding V&A Waterfront.

Check in was poor, staff tell you to sit and wait. Took about 30 minute or more. Satellite TV never work after many requests from the 1st day till we left. The apartment was in a safe, central location about 10 minutes walk from the V&A Waterfront where there are numerous bars and restaurants. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Great and comfortable stay at Waterfront Village. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Will certainly stay again when next in Cape Town for business travel and recommend this to other colleagues and friends.

We booked a luxury apartment with no warning or notification that this establishment has made absolutely no provision for back-up power while Cape Town suffers from 9 hours' load-shedding per day. We discovered this when we checked in, but were reassured that the apartment that we booked had an inverter. When we discovered that the inverter was not working, it was already after-hours. We had no lamps or lights and as a result I slipped and fell in the dark and hurt myself. When we reported this the next day, the operational manager lamely explained that they had never promised back-up power! Read less

Our family of 10 people booked 2 residences at this location. The units were Carradale 003 (2 bedroom ) and Bannockburn 801 ( a 3 bedroom Penthouse apartment, supposedly) We went for this location for the security and location to the Waterfront and these are the only redeeming qualities of this resort . CARRADALE 003 (1) The first night we tried to bath and the water was BROWN . Utterly filthy and could not bath . Turns out an entire new geyser had to be installed disrupting our stay for a large time . (2) Washing machine packed in and had to be replaced right on the last day after the Engineer had been spending major time trying to repair . (3) Pillows were revolting. Stains . We went to Woolworths and bought our own and pillow cases . (4) Toaster blew up . Etc etc ( I could go on and on ) Definitely old and tired and in need of a face lift and new furnishings. Plus side was the TV was great as we watched many sports events . BANNOCKBURN 801 Where do we begin ? . This was a very expensive penthouse in an absolutely shocking state . (1) Advertised as a 3 bedroom but one bedroom devoid of cupboard space . (2) No TV in the lounge and only 2 small TV’s in the bedrooms but with no TV as the owner takes away their DECODER ETC. For a penthouse this is ridiculous. (3) Sewage smell from shower in main bathroom. (4) No plugs working in kitchen. (5) Cheap broken shower heads Etc etc The 2 maintenance workers were permanently trying to fix this shambles . What a disgrace . The reception team and on site staff were very decent and tried to help . We repeatedly asked for senior management to come and see the rooms with us but they were total cowards and refused to engage their clients who paid decent money and got terrible value . We eventually got some pathetic financial amount back after chasing up for a month . The owners of these apartments and the Senior management who ran away from us should be disgraced . I strongly recommend that you do not waste your money and stay here . We certainly would never return and will now recommend people not to go to these places . The Owners need to only be allowed to rent if they meet a certain standard, which these do not . This is essentially false and misleading advertising as the management markets these units as Luxury Units . What an absolute joke . They are about as far away from luxury as you can ever get . Be warned . Stay away . Thank you to the maintenance folks and Nicole and her team for trying their best to help us each day fix more and more problems. We would have left on DAY 1 without you . To the senior management that could not be bothered to come and see first hand the problems …….you should all be fired . Read less
