We were so impressed with these self catering apartments. They are a short walk (5-10 mins) from the V&A waterfront and so benefit from all the gorgeous restaurants and bars and not too far to a supermarket. We felt very safe as it is a secured complex with 24hr security and you get a key card pass so you can come and go as you please. Our… Read more

Our apartment had a balcony overlooking the canal with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed for a 10 day stay and could not have wished for anything better. We only expected the occasional clean during our stay and so were pleasantly surprised when cleaning and fresh towels happened every day. Despite it being a central location it was extremely quite. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to return. Read less

We stayed in these apartments on the V&A for 6 nights. The apartment was 2 beds, 2 bathrooms high spec and very high standard and spacious, it had everything we needed and was well equipped. We had a spot right on the water, the whole area is very quiet, safe and secure with gated access and only a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants on the… Read more

Family of 5 stayed here in June 2019 in a 3 bedroom Deluxe Apartment. It was AMAZING! We were on the third floor and had an amazing view of the V&A Waterfront including the ferris wheel and harbor. I had emailed ahead to ask if we could be on an upper floor for the view. We had a private driver from the airport to the apartment complex who took us directly to reception where check in was quick. Then our driver drove us to the apartment and the reception staff met us and let us into the apartment. HUGE! 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 1 bedroom with twin beds and bathroom in the hallway. Heated floors. Wonderfully decorated. Spotless. There was even a complimentary bottle of champagne! We didn't cook but the kitchen looked like it had everything you could need and had a huge refrigerator. We felt very safe in the complex. There is a gated entrance where they take a photo of you so when you attempt to enter the complex with the key the guards can view your photo and ensure you are the right person. The location was incredible - less than 10 minute walk to the Aquarium and all the other shops / etc of the Waterfront using the walkway and back gated entrance. We walked everywhere even after dark in the Waterfront area only and never were bothered. There was a washer / dryer in the apartment which was very convenient. We did use the safe that was provided in the apartment when we were out. We were able to stay here thanks to Cedarberg Africa travel agency and it was the off season since we traveled in June. We would stay here again should we be fortunate enough to return to Cape Town! Read less

We loved the balcony & view. Our room was a long way from reception - over 10 minute walk. We were disappointed with the lack of information about the apartment and facilities. A welcome pack would have been useful. The only thing we really understood after check in were the rules. It took us over 20 minutes to find out how to get to the waterfront as the only route we had been told was how to get to reception. (This was because our daughter in law drove us underground when we arrived.) There were no instructions for anything in the apartment and we did not understand the TV set up, where to buy anything eg milk what facilities there were available for us to use. We thought the apartment was very gloomy with dark walls, some of the furniture was looking old and tired and there were at least 3 holes in our bed sheets. There was no where to charge our phones / usb points, our t towel and shampoos etc were not replenished in 4 days and it was not easy for our family to visit. We had 5 power cuts in 4 days - we were warned about 2. There were a few things that needed fixing - eg bathroom door did not shut properly but surely these should be reported by daily cleaning staff. We were not offered any help with our luggage on check out and we had a long walk with heavy cases. Even the ground staff working saw us struggling but did not offer to help. Quite honestly we do not think this place is set up for short term holiday visitors. Read less
