These properties are apartments with balconies overlooking water, the harbour is a 5 minute walk away, We stayed in Juliette 2nd floor apartment 211. These apartments are privately owned and managed by an office near by. The lounge is large and comfortable with plenty of seating, TV, DVD and satelite, and wifi. Large dining table and chairs and a well equipped kitchen, ncluding washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer, microwave, toaster, oven, ironing board, iron etc. There is a good sized table and chairs on the balcony and two reclined loungers. There are two double bedrooms one which has a view of the water, a bath and shower, plenty of wardrobe space, fitted hair dryer, and is of a good size. The other bedroom has a shower, fitted wardrobes, mirror and small table. Having stayed in this room, i found it adequate but smaller and the lack of a socket by the mirror for use of the hair dryer was a little annoying. In addition to this i found the beds to be very hard which certainly disturbed my sleep also one of the beds (two pushed together) was creaky and annoying. I did find a mattress topper in the wardrobed obviously to make the two singles a double which i folded in half and put on top of the mattress which helped alot, otherwise i would have had a miserable time trying to get to sleep. I also thought the pillows weren't the best and the duvet was thin. I had to use two as it was a bit cold and there were no spare in the wardrobes. There are a couple of portable heaters which were useful. The bathrooms have good showers and towels a plenty. You will find this a peaceful and well managed location. There is a well equipped gym and pool across the bridge which are free to use whilst you stay. The whole area is gated and you are supplied with an electronic key for access around the site. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay. You are situated right in the centre and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, harbout etc. For some general shopping supplies, locate the ferris wheel, go into the shopping mall opposite and go down the escalator to Pick and Pay. Totally overrated and the parking us a nightmare. Avoid on a weekend. Weekdays might be better?? The parking takes over 1 hour to exit. NO REGULATION of traffic whatsoever. As a premier attraction this needs to be addressed.

An even more fabulous place now that the new Silo district is added. The statues, marimba bands, food market, plus teeming with life: seagulls, seals, people (but you don't feel cramped), shops, play areas (skate-boarding area, grass field) unusual chairs etc. What a JOY for all

This was our first stop in South Africa and the apartment was bigger than expected - perfect for our family. The location is great and apartment was of a high standard. The check in process could have been slicker and quicker but overall a very good experience and we would book here again.

The intruder was carrying a knife and we suffered cuts and had to go to hospital in Cape Town for treatment. On our return to the UK we had to undergo a course of anti-viral treatment..Cape Town is becoming more dangerous Read less
