Fancourt Hotel is definitely one of South Africa’s premier hotels. Set against a dramatic mountain backdrop, rooms are split between the 150 year old Manor House, which has been completely remodelled to create a boutique hotel and the main hotel, which effortlessly combines modern luxury with traditional elegance. A golf estate – Outeniqua and Montagu 18-hole Golf Courses are two of the finest you’ll encounter – a must for any enthusiast. Meanwhile, those intent on a spot of pampering are also in for a treat. Rituals inspired by the four elements: air, water, fire and earth form the basis of all therapies, ensuring you leave your tranquil surrounds feeling balanced and on top of the world! Dining can be as formal or as casual as you please. There are several restaurants to choose from, including La Cantina, which is ideal for all the family. For that special occasion or just because you want to spoil yourselves, Henry White’s dedicates itself to excellence in the culinary arts – open five days a week, make sure you experience it at least once. When it comes to sightseeing, there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, including Garden Route excursions, a trip to the stunning Knysna Waterfront and trips into the wilderness to spot the 'Big Five'.

We enjoyed the beautiful and tranquil resort. The staff made the experience 5 Star. Lots of attention to detail and adding a special touch. The restaurants delivered world class food and service. The only disappointment was that the spa was fully booked and we could not enjoy that facility.

The quality of the accommodation, service and golf was exceptional. The room we had at Fancourt was one of the best we have stayed in anywhere in the world. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great experience that we would highly recommend.
A tropical paradise.

The best and friendliest golf destination I can think of. The comfortable and beautiful accommodations are situated in a wonderful tropical garden with lots of entertaining birds, the golf courses are fantastic, and all the very friendly people/employees we meet during our stay are there to give us the best holiday experience ever.

Chose this Hotel over others as wanted to enjoy my 60th Birthday in style, this Hotel did not disappoint, on arrival we were upgraded to a one bedroom Apartment, very spacious with large TV's in both the living room and bedroom, immaculately cleaned and regularly checked by the House cleaning team, we always had a new surprise of wonderful towel designs on our bed when we get back in after a day exploring. I cant fault this Hotel in any way, even though myself and my wife are not golfers, it was just the best choice we could have made, Breakfast was more than ample, we would always go to the Club lounge at night for a nite cap and prices for us 'UK' are a lot cheaper than back Home but service would leave most places behind, the on site Gym is well stocked and there are free Golf Buggies to get you around the complex 24/7. Ample on site parking
The main reason for writing this review, is to thank the many wonderful staff who made our stay at Fancourt all the better, from checking in at reception 'Mxolisi', the Lady who always ensured we had a ride to the car park 'Josi', our perfect service every morning at Breakfast 'Joyce', the Room attendant who made us smile with her designs on more than one occasion ' Michelle', the Lady who took care of my wife in the Spa' Precious' and our Friendly Bar man who knows how to make a good Aperol Spritze, 'Xolile' thank you all, we will see you next year!!

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
