Staying in the palace is definitely an experience for any traveler. Amazing breakfast with great variety and champagne. I couldn't rate it a 5 star as there were a few small things all round that was lacking - eg. small maintenance needed in the bedroom and bathroom. The resort, reception and swimming pool area was excellent.

Breakfast good, and during the week we practically had the place to ourselves so felt very safe from Covid. Don't bother with The Grill Restaurant, food was disappointing and overpriced.… Read more

The hotel was sent a special request for a stay however they did not respond nor did they arrange. The restaurant staff at breakfast are not friendly. We had to ask 4 different staff for coffee and tea constantly. No attendance very unfriendly and no idea what 5 star service should mean. There is no turndown like there used to be in the past. This is our 3rd time staying at the Palace and everything all round has dropped. For the price we paid for our family of 4 I am certain it will be better spent at other resorts around the Pilanesberg area. Read less

The Front office Duty Manager, apologised for this and Promptly refunded the R7 151.00 to My credit Card. The Palace is such a Magnificent Hotel with 3rd class Service. Shame on You. I have instructed My attorneys to take action and am Going onto Hello Peter and Trip advisor to inform people on the inferior service at the front Office of the Palace reception. Read less
