To start it off we arrived with the corona sealed toilet seat in our room and a very off smell in the room . Only later to find out that the staff had left a terrible surprise in the toilet for us. Then we end up going for breakfast at the palace . Firstly it took over 30 minutes to get seated .... then once we got seated by the most incompetent and rude staff we were able to go to the buffet . It took 1 hour in the pancake que and when you get to the front they have the worst attitudes and no toppings .... Once we headed to the pool for a relaxing day , we had to practically beg a waiter/ waitress to serve us. We then headed to our room to get ready for dinner and shocker the TV didn’t turn on due to the battery in the remote being flat .... and let me not even get started on trying to get hold of concierge ... I stayed from Tuesday ( 22nd ) until today (27th ) . I can truly say the service got worse everyday. Last point for you guys to think about . If you feel like watered down vodka or tequila head to the Tusk bar . The managers on shift agreed with me and didn’t know what to say ... nonetheless I paid my bill and won’t ever be back again nor will I recommend it to anyone . Read less

The complaints about the Crystal court dining area are so unfounded...The food selection was fantastic (so much to choose from) and always fresh and the service great. The pool area kept clean and cocktail and snack orders taken and served quickly. Few monkeys around but were chased away by security. Staff happy to be back after lockdown and full of smiles. Honestly dont understand the bad reviews...Will definetly be back soon. James and Renata Popper Read less

The Palace looks impressive but sadly the hotel no longer offers 5 star accommodation. From reception, we are given a key and told our room number. It’s huge so it was a long unguided search for the room. The room needs updating. Aircon didn’t work. Stuffy and smelled of old smoke. Fridge was off and empty. It’s huge so it was a long unguided search for the room. The room needs updating. Aircon didn’t work. Stuffy and smelled of old smoke. Fridge was off and empty. Had to phone (usually unanswered) for drinking water. Brought warm with no ice. Toilet ran non stop. Shower leaked. Phoned concierge for dinner booking but nothing available. Had to shuttle to casino for a substandard meal at Legends. Breakfast was good but chaotic as not enough staff to serve as you can’t help yourself to buffet due to Covid. At checkout waited nearly half an hour for bags despite phoning before to ask for porter. Sad as this could be world class. Just looks like management is missing or untrained. Read less

This place was absolutely amazing!! Everything from the staff to the rooms to the food was incredible! I absolutely could not fault our stay here other than it wasn’t long enough! It was a little on the expensive side but well worth it!! There was a free shuttle that took us everywhere we wanted to go. So many things to chose from to do each day… Read more
