Located on the outskirts of the Franschhoek Village. Transfer time from Cape Town airport: 1 hour.

Hotel information

Choice of rooms. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar* and safe. Standard Rooms, located in the original manor house, offer a small living area, a private balcony and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Luxury Rooms are spacious and most of the rooms offer a private patio or balcony with garden views.

The double storey Garden Cottages have an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor with a private patio/garden area and a separate lounge area upstairs with vineyard views.

Villa Suites are also available.

Monneaux Restaurant (contemporary cuisine; lunch and dinner). 2 swimming pools. Spa* (treatments need to be pre-booked). Complimentary shuttle bus to Franschhoek town centre.

Friendly, kind staff and lovely accommodations. Located conveniently to the wine terminal Where you pick up wine tram or bus. Also quite a reasonable walk into town. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Famous for their pools- one heated, one au naturelle.

Lovely big comfortable rooms which were beginning to be refurbished whilst we were there which I think they could do with a little revamp. Two pools, one heated one not which was nice. The restaurant on site is delicious and plenty of options in the breakfast room to begin your day with. Every member of staff we come across were soooo friendly and gave advice on where to go. We rented bikes which was fun but they do offer a free shuttle service into the town where you can get the wine tram. Which we had longer there to fully explore as we only done one night. Read less

The spacious villa suite is a decadent sanctuary, loved the deep standalone bath, the heavenly fine linens, useful toiletries, cosy lounge with fireplace and private, sunny patio with loungers. The cooked to order breakfast set us up for days out exploring, on bikes and hikes and we throughly enjoyed sampling the delicious new winter menu. We relaxing and swam in the heated pool (next to the cool pool) in beautiful gardens, surround by stunning mountain vistas. Sipped pre-dinner, sundowner cocktails by the water fountain terrace of the Monneaux Restaurant. Epic Bloody Mary's. The reception team were super helpful in arranging transfers into Franschhoek village. The whole team were an absolute pleasure to interact with and made us feel very welcome. This was a Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. The onsite Monneaux restaurant was also fabulous - wonderful staff and impeccable food. Breakfast was very good with hot options available and we also had a very good massage on site too
