Back to stay for a second time, loved it the first time and was not disappointed this time. Enjoyed staying in Franschhoek, lovely little town, the wine tram passes by at the end of the garden by the pools. The rooms were kept spotless and are very comfortable. Everything you need is in the rooms. They have a happy hour in the afternoon when you can help yourself to the wine, beer and snacks from the communal area under the breakfast room. Lovely! Staff very obliging, took the shuttle down to the wine tram, just asked at reception to book a time. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was still excellent but did miss the wine pairing menu. Hope all the staff are safe and well. Thank you so much for all you did for us. Read less

This is an ideal hotel to explore the lovely small town of Franschoek. Spent 4 nights in a beautiful spacious luxury room with veranda.Service was excellent as was breakfast. Great location for visiting the many wineries in the area and participating in wine-tasting.

This is a beautifully appointed, amazing property in the little town of Franschhoek. We had a wonderful stay there. The breakfast (included) was wonderful. The onsite restaurant is a great place to have a splurge dinner. The staff is great. My only regret is that we didn't have at least one more night there.

We were very fortunate in the hotels that Deborah our travel agent picked for us to make up our most amazing holiday. This was one of the most memorable. Set in beautiful surroundings on the edge of Franschhoek it offers a peaceful and relaxing ambience. The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. Ours was huge with a great balcony and a large seating area. Next to our room was an impressive lounge area with complimentary sherry. The grounds were stunning and the pool area amazing. Fantastic sunbeds in a lovely grassy area with two pools - one heated and one cool. The service at the pool, as it was everywhere, was incredible. Towels, iced water and sunbeds were complimentary and a full bar and snack service was available all charmingly served at your sunbeds. Breakfast offered everything you could possibly want and we sat on the small balcony overlooking the grounds which was delightful. At all times the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Read less

Just an absolutely gorgeous hotel, gorgeous setting, we had a villa suite which was very spacious, lovely balcony, great products in the bathroom, comfortable bed, staff really helpful and friendly. Complimentary transport to local restaurants and vineyards and amazing breakfasts. There’s a complimentary bar every afternoon, very nice touch. We had a slight disappointment with the stellenbosch half day wine tour we booked through the hotel, basically the tour as stated is not possible in the time allocation plus many vineyards have their final tastings starting at 4pm so keep that in mind. I believer the hotel are addressing this now with the tour company and we had a slight reduction on our payment for this. But that is separate to our amazing hotel experience and we would definitely recommend staying here Read less
