Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa

Nusa Dua, Bali

The hotel

Living up to its ‘authentically Bali’ mantra, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa feels like a reincarnated Balinese palace. Every element’s lavish, with its three exquisite tree-fringed pools, sumptuous spa, gym, and seven bars and restaurants all adding to the fantastical feel. But nothing’s quite as regal as its grounds, where tropical greenery spills over balconies, tumbles through gardens, and comes to rest on the pure white sands of its beach. The effect’s a serene setting for garden tours, coconut leaf weaving, and traditional dance classes – and for Gecko Club’s child-focused island experiences. Inside its nine hectares, a dramatic temple-like structure splits to reveal an elaborate lily pond festooned with water features; Balinese guest rooms (including Butler-served Club rooms) divulge garden, pool, or beach scenes; and the incredible bamboo web of its double-decked brasserie opens up to hypnotic Indian Ocean views.

The best hotel beds and pillows!!! Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, always eager to assist to make our stay truly memorable. Attention to the small things that matter is not overlooked and nothing is too much to ask.

Very disappointed I would not recommend this resort to anyone who is planning to have a holiday. Extremely disappointed with the halal kitchen as vast majority of guests did not require such restrictions. The balcony outside the room was extremely dirty with clumps of hair and was not cleaned for the 9 days we stayed. The staff were lovely and wonderful however there were not nearly enough staff to cater for the amount of guests. Such a rundown and poor quality resort within the prestige Nusa Dua region. Our first stay at this resort was 14 years ago and not one thing has changed since except for the halal kitchen. My partner and I travel to Nusa Dua twice a year and have never had such an unenjoyable experience. Read less

There are a number of restaurants to eat at and all are really nice. My favorite is the one that is like a tree house the view and service and atmosphere is amazing. Good number of pools for families and an easy walk to Bali collection to get basic shoppping done. Also much cheaper option for massage and beauty thearapy.

Had an awesome time staying at this hotel for our honeymoon. Its close, but for us this hotel was better than the other Nusa Dua hotel we stayed at - Ayodya Palace, as it wasn't too busy, great layout, beautiful grounds and lobby, amazing free spa which isn't included at a lot of places, the staff were very friendly and the service was the best we experienced in Bali! This hotel is perfect for couples who want 5 star luxury at a beach front hotel which isn't as busy as some of the other resorts. The restaurants were excellent and varied enough with Raja being our favourite. Read less

We stayed at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa in July ‘19- flew in for family holiday from Sydney. Myself, wife and two young boys aged 10 and 7. Absolutely loved our time in the resort- excellent service from all staff, hotel is very beautiful mixing 5 star resort with cultural Balinese architecture. Pool sits right on the Nusa Dua beachfront, includes a pool bar which opens from 11am. Food in the various resort restaurants was excellent and good value. Most top Bali hotels share the Nusa Dua beachfront, si you can take a lovely walk along the beach, visiting other hotels in the way and sampling their restaurants. We never once felt we were being ripped off for anything at the resort- the value was always there. Again, I must commend the management and all staff for ensuring our holiday was one for there memory books. We will definitely be back! Read less
