Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa

Nusa Dua, Bali

The hotel

Living up to its ‘authentically Bali’ mantra, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa feels like a reincarnated Balinese palace. Every element’s lavish, with its three exquisite tree-fringed pools, sumptuous spa, gym, and seven bars and restaurants all adding to the fantastical feel. But nothing’s quite as regal as its grounds, where tropical greenery spills over balconies, tumbles through gardens, and comes to rest on the pure white sands of its beach. The effect’s a serene setting for garden tours, coconut leaf weaving, and traditional dance classes – and for Gecko Club’s child-focused island experiences. Inside its nine hectares, a dramatic temple-like structure splits to reveal an elaborate lily pond festooned with water features; Balinese guest rooms (including Butler-served Club rooms) divulge garden, pool, or beach scenes; and the incredible bamboo web of its double-decked brasserie opens up to hypnotic Indian Ocean views.

We ended our 12 day honeymoon at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel. It’s situated on a nice stretch of beach that’s well maintained and clean. Food was good at the restaurants, pool was large and clean. The hotel beach has the best position, it is wide unlike a lot of the other hotels ...when you walk along they are all squashed together and lose the sun early . At Nusa Dua Beach you have sun on the beach all day. Restaurants are award winning and the selection of foods are very diverse, I cants fault a thing I have stayed at the hotel several times and my husband and I will continue to go back there Read less

Our favourite place by far was the pool swim up bar - Anggara was amazing, he knew our names and used them everyday, had great English and sense of humour. All staff were very friendly and efficient. The resort was located on the beach front and was easy to walk to many resorts nearby and to the Bali Collection - shops and restaurants( free shuttle every hour too!) The main gate/ street in Nusa Dua also had a variety of restaurants and shops, easy walk. Be aware though this is Bali luxury area and is certainly not as cheap as other places. Great for lazing around by the pool / beach. Breakfast has everything possible imaginable- except this resort doesn’t have any pork - beef bacon isn’t quite right😉. Read less

Again we were greeted during breakfast the next morning. The welcome and hospitality were outstanding. Thank you, Brendan. Read less

Breakfast is excellent. The lounge is facing the courtyard, which is very cozy; very relaxing. Swimming pool is quite big and very good - for relaxing or even for serious swimming. The location is perfect. The beach is just right in-front of the hotel. The beach area is very nice. The walking path is shady, which is very comfortable. Shops (Bali Collections) are just within a few minute walk. Overall the service is excellent, and we are planning to come back again soon. Read less
