Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa

Nusa Dua, Bali

The hotel

Living up to its ‘authentically Bali’ mantra, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa feels like a reincarnated Balinese palace. Every element’s lavish, with its three exquisite tree-fringed pools, sumptuous spa, gym, and seven bars and restaurants all adding to the fantastical feel. But nothing’s quite as regal as its grounds, where tropical greenery spills over balconies, tumbles through gardens, and comes to rest on the pure white sands of its beach. The effect’s a serene setting for garden tours, coconut leaf weaving, and traditional dance classes – and for Gecko Club’s child-focused island experiences. Inside its nine hectares, a dramatic temple-like structure splits to reveal an elaborate lily pond festooned with water features; Balinese guest rooms (including Butler-served Club rooms) divulge garden, pool, or beach scenes; and the incredible bamboo web of its double-decked brasserie opens up to hypnotic Indian Ocean views.

We stayed here for 3 nights.loved the resort and rooms. Breakfast was delicious with huge range of options available. Our room was great, we just couldn't enjoy the balcony or leave the balcony door open for fresh air because the moment we opened the door, squirrels would try to come in the room. The customer service can be a bit better, like we had to wait long time to be checked in and there was 4 people trying to check us in. Don't know if it could be organised better. The security guards at the entrance were a bit rude to us on a couple occasions, that really put us off after a great day we spent outside. Just needs a bit more human touch in their customer service. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here. Read less

Perfect place to relax and fantastic atmosphere. We have been in this place more then 10 times since 2000 and always enjoy the perfect service of the "crew" in the Place Club. We have booked again for end August this year, but not sure whether this will be possible due to coronacrisis.

Booked as part of a package from Imagine cruising that should have included a cruise to Indonesia which was cancelled due to Coronavirus so our stay was extended to 10 days. The hotel was in a lovely location literally on the beach with large grounds. Our room was ok but a little dark and the layout made wardrobe access difficult. It was regularly clean and linen changed daily. The staff were lovely and helpful. We couldn’t use the balcony much due to the squirrels who roam freely. Meals were good with a large choice and plenty of restaurants to choose from, they were expensive but the Bali connection shopping centre was a short walk along the seafront with cheaper meals if necessary. We used a local tour provider for trips which were cheap, hiring a driver and guide and planning our own trips. Read less

We couldn't travle to Nusa Dua because of the COVID 19 restrictions, however we have been before and it is very important that we don't allow this hotel not to be here. Bali is filed with the most lovely and friendly people and we can't wait to come back
