Went with a girlfriend for three nights two weeks after the keys opened back up following the pandemic outbreak. The hotel was clean and everyone was practicing proper distancing protocol. Many things Ocean Key hides from you while you're making a reservation - parking restriction heights being one - 6ft 4in. They offered to make accommodations for my truck but that was leaving it 24 hours a day a the valet area and they would just move it when it was in the way...way too big of a risk for my truck. Hotel didn't appear to practice… Read more

Hotel didn't appear to practice social distancing at the Sunset Grill Pier or the Pool/Jacuzzi area even though they had plenty signs that no one seemed to read or no one even tried to enforce. With 3 other hotels in the immediate vicinity I expected more. Read less

Resort is wonderful. Perfect location for walking to stores and restaurants. We ordered room service 4x during a 4 day stay and it was fast & delicious every time. Minibar options are very expensive. Tip: Go to CVS across the street and stock up on waters and other beverages upon arrival. Otherwise, plan to pay $4-6 per bottle of water. We… Read more

Tip: Go to CVS across the street and stock up on waters and other beverages upon arrival. Otherwise, plan to pay $4-6 per bottle of water. We splurged for an oceanfront deluxe room (416) and the view is to die for. Definitely recommend. We traveled with 13 other people and there are very different room styles. All were nice! The bed was very comfortable and the AC was nice and cool. Perfect after a day on the water. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms lack electrical outlets, so charging multiple devices was a bit of a challenge. We didn't notice until day 2 that we needed to request daily maid service, so our room didn't get cleaned during our stay. Not a big deal, just something to know ahead of time. All in all, I would definitely recommend this resort!! Read less

We stayed here for 4 nights just before the virus closures. A lovely place but they were missing some things in the room that should be there for the price. I wrote them a note and have heard nothing from them. The biggest irritant was the hot tub filled so slowly that it was not useable as the water was cold by the time it got full enough to… Read more

We had a long mother-daughter weekend experience like no other at Ocean Key!! From entering through the beautiful airy lobby, being greeted with a sample of their signature rum drink, handling of our bags, the suite room was exceptional with a welcome cheese and berry plate, our view was magnificent, we went to the on resort Terra Spa for the best experience I've ever had at a spa which included facials, massage, a milk bath, and mani/pedi combination. I just can't say enough about the resort and the spa. The location is excellent and the dining in-house and in the area is just about the best and freshest food I've every eaten! I highly recommend this resort for a very memorable get away! Read less
