The breakfast at Jacks is great and love the food and drink service by the Octopool from Bongos. The sunset is amazing from the beach and we walked the beach all the way to the town square where there's lots of restaurants and shops. Perfect getaway for couples or families with kids. My husband and I got a couples Swedish massage at Aquagene spa and it was fabulous! Dawn did a great job. We will definitely be back again! Read less

He was very knowledgeable and approachable, he made learning about the area very fun! Can't wait to visit again!! Read less

I visited the Pinkshell this weekend for a girls trip. The pool and beachside area was nice, it served its purpose. Everything else, on the other hand was not. We paid way too much for what the hotel had to offer. If you can get this hotel for around $150 a night then it’s worth it, anything more you would be paying too much. I over paid at $350 a night. First day of our stay we enjoyed a nice day at the beach and pool. When we got back to our hotel I ran to the shower. As soon as I turned it on the water came out brown, it was beyond disgusting. Maintenance guy was called and came right away to fix it. However, this made me extremely cautious to use it. The room itself was completely outdated. The toilet ran our entire trip, we had ready unpacked all our belongings so at the point it would’ve been a hassle to request a different room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. For $350 a night I wish they had some decent bedding but they didn’t. The quilt was very rough and not comforting at all. If you are worried about Covid measures then this place is not for you. They have signs everywhere, but per the front desk manager they are not allowed to enforce the policy. This was an issue at breakfast as they served buffet style and people were going up to the line without masks. We decided not to go back for breakfast. All of this was addressed with the director of operations and he didn’t seam to care. I like to find a place in all the beach cities around Florida that I enjoy and would come back to for future weekend getaways. This is not one of them. I will not be returning here. If you are searching for a place that has a nice beach and pool but don’t care about the quality of the hotel room and getting a good nights rest then this is your place. If all of the above matter in your decision for choosing a place then I wouldn’t come here, I would avoid Ft Meyers beach altogether. The surrounding area didn’t leave much to desire. Read less

Overall this was an enjoyable stay at the pink shell. However there are considerations that limit it from being a great resort. Staff- excellent- always gong out of their way to accommodate you, take interest in your conversation and questions with only one person who was not at their game the entire 3 days we spent there. Amenities- we only used the beach partial day and did not partake in the kayaks, paddleboards etc but all were in good condition and staff attentive to assisting you. Loved the little flags on the chairs and umbrellas to alert staff that you needed drink or food. The daily breakfasts were very good which included an omlette and waffle station as well. COVID - this resort takes great care in providing sanitizers about every turn and corner possible as well and cleaning room. Staff all wore masks and this included staff cleaning rooms. Unfortunately people congregating the pool area did not necessarily take thought about it. Rooms- well kept, but beware the bathrooms and unsure if in all rooms were these very large bath tubs (non Jacuzzi - but size of one) with ledge which made it hard getting in and out of. Probably my most frustrating about the resort as well as the placement of the bedrooms in the suites facing out to the walkway and not the gulf view side. Overall it was a pleasant stay and would stay again if in the area. Rooms- we stayed in the Read less
