We were able to see dolphins, shark, turtles a variety of birds and even a little crab that decided to hang out on my foot. This amiable guy is an encyclopedia of information regarding marine life, the ecosystem, habitats, birds, etc you ask it and he knows it. He was professional and safety conscious. He took a great deal of time to show us all the beatiful nature which abounds there. This is a must do to add to your stay. Read less

just returned from a weekend at the Pink Shell and I am so disappointed. I have been going to this resort for over 25 years (on and off) and have never thought I would leave a review that was less than excellent, yet here I am. Over half the guests were not wearing masks either in the elevators, waiting for the elevators, walking through the guest services area as well as walking by the outdoor seating coming and from the pool. Speaking of the pool - there was no social distancing at all nor any mask wearing, extremely crowded and for this reason, I did not use the pool at all during my stay. Pool chairs were not socially distanced either. The only place that was safe and socially distanced were the beach lounges with umbrellas. Had to eat in the suite both nights. I did voice my concerns with the concierge/guest relations desk but it appeared that they didn't care at all. It was definitely a lack of concern. I chose this hotel because I usually rave about it and how they tout covid care but it is not true. P.S. they don't go around cleaning any of the publicly used railings, chairs, etc and areas throughout the day Read less

My wife and I spent our 20 year wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely helpful and the resort was beautiful. The rooms were very clean and we had a lovely view of the beach from our balcony. We will be back!!

This is great place for families with people of all ages. We were checked in by Chris at the registration desk. Chris was nice and patiently answered all of our questions. In the morning, we were warmly, welcomed by Davinia at the breakfast desk, John at the omelette station, and Booker at the hot food table. Everyone was so pleasant! Our rooms were kept spotless by Brigette and Jean in housekeeping. The guys at the paddle board booth were also great. We loved that when the Octopool was busy, we were able to go to the other pool or down to the beach. We really enjoyed the shaved ice, the DJ at the pool, and the big pretzels. We were sad to leave, but Mary at the front desk answered our questions about visiting again. Read less

I’ve wanted to stay at the Pink Shell Resort for years. But other vacations got in the way. Finally my bestie and I decided to heck with Covid and made reservations. We arrived June 28 and left July 5. That was due to adding on 2 extra days because we had so much fun. We had a one bedroom unit in the White Sands Building. We were just a couple of units away from the elevator hallway, right in the middle of the building on the fifth floor. The views were spectacular. Our room was exceptionally clean. We ordered groceries through instacart and had them delivered Monday morning so we could sleep in and still have breakfast. Jack’s breakfast buffet was great. We ate a few meals from Bongos and it was awesome too. The employees there are really what make the place a standout. I took names to email the general manager, he should know how pleased we were!! Being there on the Fourth of July was fun. A big party with lots of games by the pool. I really can’t think of a bad thing to say! Our stay just couldn’t have been better!! Read less
