It was my first stay at the Pink Shell Resort, but I absolutely fell in love with this property from the first sight. I stayed in many many5 stars and up resorts in Mexico before, but this resort is so much better. First is the location, I don't have to leave the US and it is only 3 hours of flying and 30 minutes cab ride to the hotel. Second, location, location and location, again, lol. The resort is located within walking distance of Down Town Fort Myers Beach with many activities, restaurants, and shops. The most importantly, the beach, absolutely stunning! Third, but very important, the property is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully appointed huge rooms, which are more like your home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need or not, lol . Full kitchen, washer and dryer, beautiful, comfortable bed, living area, two TVs, absolutely breathtaking views, with comfortable sitting on the balcony, I can make one suggestion, for future guests, if you don't like any noise, avoid staying at the main building with Octopool, because the kids and kids a like are splashing in the pool until 11 pm, and it can be too noisy for some people. Was not an issue for me, but when I will be coming with my boyfriend, who is super sensitive to a noise, I will have to stay in the different building. Fourth, the beach, again, lol. The lounge chairs and the beach towels are very comfortable, all non motorized water sport are included with your resort fees, drinks and food can be ordered and delivered right to your beach chairs or any pool location. The quality of food, drinks are superb. The staff is outstanding! Fifth, and the most important, the most friendliest staff I have ever experienced. They work above and beyond to meet any of your needs and requests. From all of the above, I will be coming back again and a again and again to Pink Shell Resort. I will recommend this property to my friends, family and anybody who will ask my recommendation. And I do recommend it to you. Come and see it and experience it for yourself Read less

Ok folks- take it from me, as we’ve been here 6 years in a row ( besides 2020 when we went to Sanibel). First, they now longer care about YOU the customer, it’s about nickel and dime-ing you to death. The staff is rude and condescending. Employees are all vulchers literally wanting a tip for everything they do. Open the Uber door, hand out. You now can get their awful breakfast to go ( which used to be good) in a recycled brown box, which the lady who handed you the box for the $30 breakfast to sign for a tip? Also PLEASE READ- they do not except cash anywhere. Reason- they automatically take 18% gratuity, which we had know idea. So, everything we ordered from bongos, we of course put a tip on, so we were paying 30-35% tip. The drinks are absolutely ridiculous, especially the frozen (pina colada, daiquiri’s etc) have NO alcohol, thus they always offer the “floater” to add additional booze, at a price of course. The rooms are nice, but don’t look behind the bed or couch or TV, absolutely disgusting. If you want your room cleaned properly be sure to tip, you’ll see the difference trust me. They offer no water anymore, so plan on getting their very fair priced water from gift shop ( I hope you can hear me laughing). Also, don’t expect your end of trip total to come close to what you were quoted upon booking, no where close. Our room had two locks, one a bolt, one the chain, neither worked. Don’t want to ever complain because they will look at you like your a criminal, so we didn’t say anything. There were close to $700 in extra charges we have no idea where they came from. They always FOR everything will ask “charge to your room”, this is so you don’t look at the receipt. To give you an idea, we bought a very nice gentleman who gave us some advice on restaurants, places to see, etc. it was a crown seven total $17.54... for ONE drink. I was shocked. $14 dollars for a virgin pina colada if you want to get the kids one. I don’t think there’s anything on the menu for under $10. Including their $17 burger lol. Stayed 6 nights-2 were so loud there was no sleeping until 2AM. Called down to complain, just rude staff and hung up on. To end- don’t believe anything they say, plan on the total bill being about 20-30% more than expected, plan on not relaxing because everything is loud all the time including starting at around 6:45 AM, so no sleeping in. This used to be the resort of FT.Myers, but mark my words, will be falling drastically in the next 2-3 years with new construction, and other hotels snagging loyal Pink Shell customers like crazy. I guess this is already in place as the chargers for Everything are way up, so someone is losing money and taking it out on us, the guest. All I have to say, is goodbye Pink Shell, you deserve everything coming your way! Read less

I had a wonderful massage with Dawn! She was absolutely amazing! Just the right touch! The salon took appropriate measures for covid. It would be helpful if the spa was open later to make more appointments with her in the future.

Awesome view, nice screened in patio with cushion chairs, very spacious, full size kitchen, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, and everything was CLEAN. The Things we loved about Pink Shell: 1. There is always something going on for kids around the pool. Lots of games with prizes, crafts, and every Friday they even pull out a big screen and popcorn around the pool. 2. Ranger Rob! He offers a Ranger Program that my 5 year old won't stop talking about! He is a huge asset to the property. Very knowledgeable about the marine life in the area and great with people. 3. The breakfast every morning was amazing and included with your stay! Anything you could possibly want for breakfast they have. 4. The pool area is AWESOME! We loved the Octopool and the kids splash area. 5. Every morning you can walk out to the beach right in front of the hotel at approx. 8:00 am and see dolphins jumping the waves! It was magical. I would hands down stay at the Pink Shell when visiting Fort Lauderdale again. Read less

We took advantage of the great breakfast, excellent onsite food and drink options, the kiddie pool and the large octopool, and the beautiful well kept beach. A definite benefit to Pink Shell was our time spent with Ranger Rob! My kids LOVED the nature walks each day with him. We learned so much from him and he was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend taking advantage of the programs he offers if you stay at Pink Shell! The location of Pink Shell was ideal. It was far enough away from Time Square that it was quieter on the beach, yet close enough to walk to dinner and sightseeing. We will surely be back again! Read less
