Image of the Tripadvisor rating Beautiful location, high prices, needs some updating.

Beautiful hotel, great views, great restaurant, pretty room. Very friendly staff. Needs some renovation for 5 stars at that high dollar of a hotel rate. Room doors face outside. No security on elevator that I noticed. Bulk toiletries in lieu of individual. Should offer more for these 5 star prices.

The area around the hotel was beautiful for a morning walk. I really enjoyed my stay and the beach was awesome. The room and hotel was very clean. Food was very good. I just wish there was a help yourself water stand.

As detailed above, various things have slipped. I sense that the staff is overworked and underpaid. Housekeeping is unable to turn down beds at night, despite the room going for 1100 a night and I think the "green" excuse is simply a cover for under-staffing. It is still a beautiful facility but it needs management less maniacally focused on… Read more

Just looking at the most recent postings I’m wondering if we stayed at the same hotel! This was our 6th visit and can honestly say that we have never once had any complaints or problems. During our 7 day stay one lift wasn’t working, fixed the day we left!!, and that was annoying having to wait ages for the one working lift to be free, but that’s… Read more

During our 7 day stay one lift wasn’t working, fixed the day we left!!, and that was annoying having to wait ages for the one working lift to be free, but that’s it. Rooms are always kept clean, and if you want to opt out you can get a $5 voucher to use at bar or fo coffee etc. The pool bar and food are excellent and staff very good. Lovely pool and right on the beach, great location. Would give a mention to Nick, front desk manager, he is always helpful, has a great manner and remembered us, by name, from previous visits. So, in conclusion, we have already rebooked again for October, and really looking forward to our next visit, hope reviews have improved by then. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Spectacular view, beautiful beach, disappointing hotel

The view of the Gulf at sunset is spectacular. The beach runs forever with soft sand and no rocks. But the hotel is badly in need of renovation. Only one elevator is working and it was broke for one day. We had to climb 10 flights to reach our room. Also the rooms need updating. I also strongly object to a $32 + tax resort fee, a $32 + tax… Read more

Only one elevator is working and it was broke for one day. We had to climb 10 flights to reach our room. Also the rooms need updating. I also strongly object to a $32 + tax resort fee, a $32 + tax valet parking (only option), $8 for a bottle of water, and $13 for quality internet. It seems unethical and petty. Read less
