I also used the gym, which was pretty big and well-equipped. Staff are really friendly - it’s impossible not to feel happy after talking to any of the staff. Service in the bar area was a bit slow, but again, I wasn’t in holiday mode. The “Catch of the Pelican” serves excellent fish. Overall, a great place to stay. Read less

Just getting back from a five night stay at Naples Grande. My husband, daughter and I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The property was beautiful, clean, smelled amazing inside, had plenty of food options even though one restaurant was closed down to revamp the menu, staff was exceptionally kind and rooms were spacious and all had balconies. The golf cart trams that take you back and forth to the beach were always available within minutes, the main pool was such a hit with my daughter with the water slide, and it was a close drive to anything you wanted to do in the area. Cabanas and umbrellas was a really reasonable price to rent on the beach each day if you wanted/needed more than just a lounge chair and the staff comes and sets it all up for you. I filled out a quick survey when connecting to the internet on our last day and just mentioned how the slider door to our balcony was stuck and hard to open - not thinking anyone was going to read it anytime soon - and within minutes I got a text from the front desk letting me know they were sending someone from their engineering team to come and fix it. Sure enough, within an hour someone came up and sprayed it and it worked much better. I do know it’s the low season right now and the resort was not crowded, but I don’t doubt the staff would work just as hard to be just as accommodating at peak times. I would definitely return!!!! Had a great stay at his hotel, very pleasant staff, clean rooms, very attentive staff all around and even gave then 5 stars on the survey they sent me. My trip was cut short by one day due to a hurricane that was passing by the area. Since I used trip.com to book my stay, they did all that was possible to negotiate reimbursement for one day or maybe even a voucher to go back another day, I live in Miami, so the trip is short. Unfortunately, Trip.com advised me that the hotel was not willing to negotiate and even stopped responding to them, and no refund would be granted. It's a shame that they were not willing to work with me, I spent almost $800 in food and drinks alone, what a shame that they didn't value what could have been a return customer for years to come. Will try La Playa next time. Read less

Please stop pumping fragrances into the hotel. It’s not accommodating for those of us with asthma!!!!! I ate every meal in my room because if the smell through out. I travel for work often and never experienced this before! There should be no fragrance! Especially one that strong. Read less

Above all, I've taken the time to write this review because of my personal experience of every person from Valet, to Front Desk, Bellman, waiters, waitresses, housekeeping and management. If you can imagine a well oiled machine of customer service and kindness (from the heart with no pretense) always present at this resort, whenever needed, just there in the wallpaper, so to speak, this is what I would boast about the most. Exceptional! Thank you for creating a delicious environment for my stay. Read less
