Everything was just okay. Room is spacious and had good views but there are so many noises. When the AC suddenly comes on, it’s like a bulldozer turned on. The fridge makes a constant noise. The dishwasher takes literally 3+ hours to run. And it smells so strongly of sulfur when you use the shower. Housekeeping is hit or miss - knocked super loudly at 8:46pm about turndown service. Seems pretty late at night for that so all of the above is not conducive to having a toddler who needs to sleep. The queen pull out couch in the living room isn’t really useable since it sinks down and doesn’t stop creaking. We had to literally sleep on couch cushions the one night we used it. The elevator also broke during our stay so the six flights up and down made for good exercise I guess. The pool and beach area were nice but having a family pool would have been a great addition. Also felt like the beach nickel and dimed you since each chair and umbrella was a separate cost. On site food is a huge disappointment so definitely account for having to go out or get takeout. There are so many resorts on the gulf side of Florida that I wouldn’t return again. Next time need to find somewhere with better facilities and amenities and is overall more family friendly. This is one of my favorite beaches anywhere, and the resort is super! I can’t say enough, I love this area and the resort! There’s absolutely not one thing to complain about if you’re here, great atmosphere, accommodations, staff, and so much to enjoy.

Good eating and drinking options, including a lovely bar/lunch spot at the golf club overlooking the course. Room options vary from “lively” overlooking the central pool and bar, to tranquil overlooking the lagoon. Free access to a well equipped gym, less than 5 minutes walk from the rooms. All the staff are extra friendly and helpful including the drivers of the free shuttles available to get you around the estate. Was nearly five stars, but the free Wi-Fi wasn’t great (you can pay for a faster one) and you do have to make sure you get a room that suits your needs. Also, I appreciate a general no-smoking policy, but it would’ve been nice to have had access to a pleasant spot to smoke a cigar in the evening. Overall, I would strongly recommend it. Read less
