253 rooms on 8 floors in 1 building with 3 lifts. All with air-conditioning, flatscreen cable TV, WiFi, alarm clock, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-fridge, safe, iron and board, and hairdryer. 

Standard View Rooms with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Gulf View Rooms feature a private balcony with views of the coastline, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 

Gulf Front Junior Suites offer direct views of the Gulf of Mexico, and a deluxe bathroom featuring a a step-in shower and separate Roman-style tub. These rooms have 1 king-size bed and a double sleeper sofa sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

The room was large and very spacious. No detail was missed. Turn down service was in the morning and evening. Hallway -Coffee area with Keurig and kcups (not a coffee drinker but attached photos) Bathroom -Bathroom has a his and hers separate sink, washer & dryer (laundry detergent Bounce and Tide powder) -Large Sunken tub Bedroom -Comfortable bed and pillows -His and Hers Closet (2 of the best Bathrobes. Bring your slippers.) -2 swivel chairs -Private Balcony (corner overlooking both Gulf Front and Gulf View) Kitchen -Full service with all the finishes -No need to buy water. Bring a reusable water bottle. Refrigerator has water and ice. Hotel supply’s two bottles of water. Dining room table was large with comfortable chairs Separate living room. Large sofa and chair. Balcony. Great views of the Gulf Front. Maybe 64 inch TV Tate’s Island Grill, Kyle was great. He gave great recommendations. Grouper sandwich and nuggets were good. Caretta’s on The Gulf, Nate was outstanding. He was so personable. He brought our special touches for our anniversary. Spa We booked facials which kept us relaxed for the entire day. We loved the private spa pool which was available for the entire day with our service. Beach -Chairs are included in resort fee. -We rented a Cabana Bed. I think it was $125 for the entire day -Tate’s Island Servers comes over like every 20 minutes to take your orders. Late Check Out All the staff are amazing. Lucy granted us a late check out. Perfect touch for a late flight. This was one of the best stays. No detail was missed. We will definitely return in the near future. Read less

Second time here and coming back in late Sept. What I like about the place is that it is on the quieter side of Clearwater Beach and literally right on the beach with its own private beach area. Not a lot of walking between your room, the pool, the beach and the bar/food. Service is great - they even have service out to your beach chair. We found it to be a bit packed in June but in October it was perfect. If you are looking for something a bit more relaxing where you can get out of the pool and within steps are on the beach then this place is for you. All rooms have been remodeled recently and the beds are comfortable. Life seems to slow down when you are at the Sandpearl. Read less

This is my third and last time at this place. I travel for business and when in Tampa pay the upgrade to stay here for the view. It's not worth it anymore. This is my third and last time at this place. I travel for business and when in Tampa pay the upgrade to stay here for the view. It's not worth it anymore. The place is filthy in bad need of a paint job and a deep clean. To the general manager, please walk the place instead of responding to reviews. The hot tub by Tate's Grille is a haven for smokers and vapers and when the rough security guy is told of it, he does nothing. I watched and smelled this all weekend. Maybe he should pay attention to complaints instead of waking people up to check their wristbands which are clearly visible. This is a non smoking resort, isn't it? You have the prime spot on the beach and that is why you charge exorbitant fees, so do your job and make sure the place is clean and taken care of so the prices people pay are worth it. Read less

Check in was super easy, the mimosa was cold and delicious, our room was ready early, and the hotel is beautiful. Upon entering our room we were greeted by a beautiful view, spectacular room, and countless amenities. The pool is wonderful, private beach is beautiful white sand, and the evening turn down service is a nice touch. Pool side has special events for kids and frozen grapes offered for a late afternoon snack was another pleasant surprise. The valet is always ready to get your car and make sure it is ready when you are. Definitely recommend this hotel !! Read less
