This was our 4th time staying at the Wyndham Grand. We love everything about this hotel from the rooms and staff to the location! Can’t wait for our next trip!

I stayed here for a 5-day vacation. The hotel overall is nice and has a great view of the water. The room was clean but the carpet and furnishings are looking a bit tired for the price you pay. I stayed here for a 5-day vacation. The hotel overall is nice and has a great view of the water. The room was clean but the carpet and furnishings are looking a bit tired for the price you pay. I wouldn't classify the rooms as opulent or resort caliber but the other common areas of the hotel are nice. The pool is small for the size of the property and the hot tub is just a warm pool of water, not jetted like an actual hot tub should be. Nice to have the bar by the pool and the food at the bar was good but the extra fees at this place add up. $40 a day for parking plus tipping valet every time you pull the car out. Also, there was this pitch that all the bar workers and servers gave you every time. It was about how there is a 19% fee on top of the bill but they only get 5% of that and "the house" takes the rest? And if you could include an additional amount for the server, they'd appreciate it. I found this to be rude and felt that I was being taken advantage of as a guest. I suggest management stop that practice asap. Overall, I enjoyed the stay but will probably investigate other options if I find myself in Clearwater Beach again. Read less

For Clearwater beach being such a crowded destination, the Wyndham Grand was a great property to stay at. Normally I would not like how packed the beach was, but the resort was so nice and relaxing that it didn't matter. We had a great stay at the Wyndham Grand!
