The hotel

This seaside family-fun hotel has a prime beachfront location, you can take to the sand for a sunbathe, or the sea for some kayaking at ease. A little wander along the beachfront trail will take you to St John's Pass one way, or St Pete's Beach the other (you can also get the free island hopper if it's a bit too hot for walking) so you've got restaurants, bars and shopping in either direction. Back at the hotel the sundeck is a great place to catch the rays and enjoy some family games together. And Wave Zone will keep the kids happy, with more games and a pool table, whilst you grab a drink or a snack at the cafe. When the sun is setting, head to Sloppy Joes for happy hour out on the deck, and no doubt you'll be tempted to stay for dinner with the aroma of fresh seafood around.

The Bilmar was beautiful and our Conch Suite was magnificent. Some recent reviews mentioned the Bilmar being older, outdated and in need of updating. Also comments about cleanliness and construction. Our visit was perfect and I am happy to say that none of these things happened to us. We will not hesitate to book there again in the future. Thank you to Clyde Smith and your fantastic staff. Resort photographer was amazing! Captured great shots and was friendly. Very enjoyable experience! My son hates getting his picture taken but we got multiple of him happy and smiling! Super happy with this photo shoot- would recommend again and again!

This resort is in need of a major renovations before renting rooms. Until then, they need to offer a disclaimer. Air conditioner loud and rattling. Room was moldy. Room was not cleaned. Doors are not sealed- You can hear the bands from other venues inside your room. We placed our clothes in the closet in the early evening. By morning our clothes… Read more

Sadly this place was under renovations. So it’s noisy. We had a room with a patio overlooking the pool. You couldn’t open the screen door to sit on the patio. So that’s that. The stairs and walkways are dirty. I don’t mean dirty because of traffic, but one stairwell near the restaurant was “ employees only access” and it was disgusting. The pool… Read more

The pool was cleaned every morning - but kinda funky looking. Our room was clean. But, it was worn out. It wasn’t worth the money we paid. Read less

Great resort! We’ve vacationed here for years. We did the photo shoot session for the first time with Cristina and it was totally worth it. She was very sweet and fun and did a great job. It was hard to choose the best pics! Highly recommend signing up for this. We did a sunset family shoot and it was perfect!
