That said, the bartenders were inconsistent in welcoming guests and lacked the warmth that frequent travelers look for. A refresher in hospitality would go a long way. On the bright side, the food was good, so kudos to the kitchen staff. The location is safe, and I slept well. Overall, a solid day!

Awesome property with great staff. Rubin in particular (front desk manager) was super helpful with making accommodations. Couldn’t ask for a better experience during my stay in Tampa. Looking forward to my next visit to the area and will plan to stay here.

With my job, we usually don't get the warm & fuzzy attention like we do when we walk through the doors here!!! These 3 special people will go above and beyond to help you and do what they need to make your stay special!!! And the hotel itself is VERY nice. Cool restaurant and bar with some delicious appetizers! I saw they have specials on certain nights, but we were there on a Sunday and there wasn't any, but it didn't matter, our good was so yummy!!! If you get the chance to stay here, you will THANK ME for letting you know how wonderful the Front desk, the cookies, the food, the pool (which stays open till 11- WOW) THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS!!!

Kim, Rubin, and Chelsee were extremely helpful with helping me and my co workers getting checked in and feeling comfortable with our stay. They answered all of our questions, gave us insights about the area, and also provided information on what Hilton honors benefits have for us!

Now, this hotel is very money-hungry. Self parking is $20. I can't really argue that one, but there is an early/late departure fee of $75.00, which is ridiculous.
Now for my personal experience--upon checking out of this hotel, I got hit with a hefty $300 dollar smoking fee. I did get to speak to the manager about this, and she was lovely and honestly it is nothing against her. She told me the exact times smoke apparently went off in the room. I am assuming they have some ultra sensitive smoke monitor in the room that is actively monitoring you full time. My credit card was charged around midnight so there must be some sort of wifi/tracking capability.
Anyways, on top of that ridiculous $300 fee, I was TAXED on top of it at a high rate. Why am I being penalized and accused of smoking in the room and then having to pay tax on top of that? Where is this money going?
I am still looking into this, because it seems as if there is some fraudulent and shady business going on here. I don't smoke. The bathroom had a very heavy fire door that did not shut all the way, perhaps the steam from that set off the monitor. Regardless, they do not let you know that this thing is in the room picking up smoke... I am guessing?
As I said, I'm still looking into the legality of this entire situation. If I must, I will take it up higher and get a lawyer involved. The owners/investors are extremely money hungry at this location and you can tell from the various fees.
I won't visit here again.
