I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice evening at Aqua in the Westin Tampa Bay, but unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown. My friends and I decided to sit at the bar, but it was unbearably hot. It felt like the AC was off, and there was no air circulating at all. This is Florida—proper air conditioning is a must! After ordering a drink, we couldn't take the heat anymore and had to leave the bar to finish our drinks in the lobby, where at least the temperature was comfortable. For a place that prides itself on being upscale, this was simply unacceptable.

Stayed here twice in the past year. Once for business and another for a family trip. Good old fashioned Westin quality, service and pricing. Always good, always consistent. Great for business trips and family enroute transport trips due to the great location by the airport.

I would absolutely recommend this place! I do wish there was an outdoor pool but they make up for it w/jet Ali's and kayaks and lots of activities. It's also right Next to Bahamas breeze which is an awesome good time w great food and drinks. The beds are so comfortable just like every Westin has amazing beds. Front Desk staff is very nice and welcoming.

Ollie was so welcoming when we were checking in! The rest of the hotel was beautiful as well. The walk near the beach at night took our breath away as soon as we stepped outside. The restaurant within the hotel was amazing as well, you have to get the crab cakes!!!

Worst experience in my lifetime. I went through to get my Mom out of the house my Brother passed and we were grieving so I was trying to get a enjoyable night away that did not happen. The staff is completely rude in the bar and very unprofessional snapping at my Mom and all she did was ask a question. No air in the resturant, fans displayed all around floor dirty and dishes all over the bar. It was so gross. Then there is no manager on site to even complain to their was a line out the door in regards to guests complaining. One working elevator, some of the floors had no lights on, ac barely worked in the room and blood on the sheets. We left because this place is a disgrace and will never return. I use to have company functions here years ago but my goodness this place needs to be shut down.
