Manuel helped us by making sure our room was clean and neat! Even after normal cleaning hours, what a guy! We left and came back to the hotel and were rewarding with neatness! Luckily for us, we also saw him in the hall on the way back. That's when we realized what a kindhearted and diligent worker he was. Who could ask for more? Not I!

Check in was fine, and we were allocated one of the recently refurbished rooms. The room was clean, and had a comfy bed together with coffee maker and a big tv and a fridge- i saw no signs of roaches or any other insects (i did check the bed before putting my luggage down out of force of habit). There were one or two oddities/minor irritations. The new rooms had a table with coffee maker in one part of the room- but no power sockets!. Also the air conditioning was a wall mounted unit and quite loud. And there was only a cabinet on one side of the bed? I cant comment on the food as we always ate out. But overall for a budget hotel it was absolutely fine. Read less

We got switched to a 2nd room, the TV console was in even worse condition, the shelves in the shower were broken off, cleaning staff never left the right amount of towels/hand towels/wash cloths or soap, carpets never vacuumed, flat sheets instead of fitted sheets, no hangers in closet, dirty windows. Pool area not maintained, broken handicap lifts that were rusty, Nobody came to change out towels so there were full bins of dirty towels and no clean towels in site. Rusty bathroom stalls in restraunt area, 1/2 of the arcade games worked, pool bar closed early most nights. This was by far the biggest disappointment in our trip that we worked so hard to go on with our kids. This facility could be great, it has amazing potential. Read less

Okay let’s start with the positive. If you are on a budget and need a room that can accommodate multiple people that offers a shuttle to SeaWorld or Universal, than this is the place to be. Okay let’s start with the positive. If you are on a budget and need a room that can accommodate multiple people that offers a shuttle to SeaWorld or Universal, than this is the place to be. The rooms are dated but clean and the beds are pretty comfy. You can’t beat accommodations for 8 in adjoining rooms for $200 a night - and that includes wrist bands for their water park which helps keeps kids busy. The bartender Miguel Carrasquillo is great. Took care of us and had great conversation. His manager, Jose, could use a course in hospitality. Okay onto the bad, silly little things like no soap bars or shower liners in either of our two rooms aren’t an issue. The real issue for us was the fact that they advertised four restaurants and two bars on scene. Lies. There is literally only one restaurant if you can call it that. The same restaurant calls itself four by serving four meals and closing between each meal. The breakfast buffet is $13 and sucks. The bars and restaurants close at 9 pm!!!!! Can I repeat that? 9 pm?!?!?!! So they have all of the kid amenities open until 11 pm - 1 am (really!!!!) and the adult places to hang out close at 9! So the adults are stuck in the hotel room while the kids are supposed to be unsupervised at the arcade games. Not only does this give me the skeevies but it also doesn’t encourage adults to spend money on them or the kids. We even ran into another family (that we didn’t know) who had just arrived an hour after we did. Just like us, they hadn’t eaten on the way in due to traffic so when they arrived they called the front desk and asked what time the restaurant was open until. They were told 11 pm. They all got ready. They walk down and are greeted by an empty restaurant to insult their hungry kids. The manager even made the bartender close the bar (which serves finger food) 15 minutes early despite paying patrons sitting at the tiki bar! Talk about cutting out money for the bartender and the resort, and fun for the family. Do not be fooled. This is not a hotel, it’s a motel. Individual access to outdoor rails. No chairs or tables outside your room. Looks like it might have started as a pay by the hour motel that got bought out by someone who invested a bit to add a water park and then doesn’t want to invest anymore or make their investment back. The only reason this place is open is due to the cheap price so expect what you pay for. The hourly staff is a hidden gem. Good people working their asses off who deserves ownership that knows what they are doing. Again, great place to go for a cheap stay that accommodates a lot of people and is close to I drive and attractions. Ten bucks per night to park is definitely worth that. Beds - good comfort (no duvet but only light blanket so ask for extras if you get cold at night) Rooms in general - pretty good, little outdated but comfortable Bartender - great Proximity to other locations - great Food - sucks Hours - awful Drink and food cost - awful Read less

Absolutely love this waterpark. It has some attractions that I've never seen before. We love the red and white slide. Last time we visited they must have been understaffed because the lifeguards would close an area, rotate, and open a new one. This time every water attraction was open which was nice because one area is more suitable for my oldest while another is more suitable for my youngest. There was one lifeguard who was so much fun. He picked a water fight with the kids and ran around while they chased and splashed him. I wish I would've gotten his name! I did notice he was wearing a "Guard of the Week" lanyard. No surprise there! What was a surprise was our room. First off all, we checked in at 8 o'clock at night soaking wet after being at Sea World all day only to be told our room wasn't ready! I've never heard of such a thing at 8 PM. They told us it would be ready soon and they would give us a call. When they still hadn't called at 9 PM, I went in and asked them for a room ASAP. The desk staff was helpful and we finally got a room. They also comped us breakfast- a breakfast that was similar to any other hotel's continental breakfast. The room we did receive smelled awful. They should tear all of the carpet out of this hotel. Basically, we love the waterpark but after two stays I can't handle another minute in the hotel. I'm seriously considering staying somewhere else and then just paying to go to the waterpark for the day. Read less
