The hotel

Not only does CoCo Key offer great family rooms with plenty of space in the heart of Orlando, it boasts it's own water park too — one of the best in the area! With 14 slides, three heated pools and a state-of-the-art gaming arcade, kids of all ages can play to their hearts content all day, every day. You're also just a hop and a skip away from a myriad of Orlando attractions (including the theme parks), so there's never a dull moment! And although restaurants abound (you can walk to over 50 restaurants and shops), The Tradewinds Restaurant on-site is a great place to dine, feasting on deep south favourites, followed by amazing dessert selections. A daily entertainment program means the kids will be making friends in no time, including movies screened by the pool and interesting activities that are hosted by the hotel staff. Look for the hotel mascot CoCo in the morning and afternoon for photo opportunities.

391 rooms. All with air-conditioning, 37" flat-screen TV, telephone, WiFi (included in the resort fee), mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Standard Rooms with 1 king-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa or 2 double/queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

The resort could definitely use some upgrades. Hot water was continuously run out. The front door employees were absolutely wonderful, cheerful, helpful. They get a 5/5! The back bar staff in the water park were also amazing! 5/5 for wonderful service. The front bar at the main pool… let’s talk about that! We were told they don’t accept cash.… Read more

Tricky little scheme they got going on to force you to pay credit card. Watch out for that. They put in the tip they think they deserve(minimum 20%) before they hand you the machine terminal. Not once were we given an option to select our own tip for the bar staff at the main pool. My husband was also locked out of our room with our 10 year old daughter on our final night. I was about 40 min behind him with our ID. He told the manager he had his passport in the room and if security could escort him to the room he would be more than willing to prove that room was ours with ID in there. They absolutely refused to help us out. Read less

We came here after a not so great stay at another hotel. We were tired and grumpy and Marina at the front desk did wonders for us. She was so kind and ready to help. The place was kept clean and rooms were big. The kids loved the water park. We’ll be back!

Zero security and lifeguards watching what’s going on. The second we got there we smelled strong weed, 3 hrs here. And it’s been non stop. A water park guest has been smoking a cigar 100ft from us all afternoon and nobody from security has shown up to address it after we informed them. We have a kid with lung issues and we’re in furnish was prohibited. This place is dirty and if we could get our money back and go somewhere else we would. Public bathrooms are like a dirty rest stop bathroom after taco night. Water slides leak and are rickety. The water in the water park pool is so cloudy looking. A lifeguard was very rude to my husband when he went to go down a slide and it’s the wrong color tub, he even explained they had only 3 of the 2 seater yello ones and a dozen people waiting for me. The pizza was the worst frozen pizza I’ve had in a long time . Never again Read less

We stayed for 2 weeks in April the hotel is a fabulous location and the staff are so lovely! The food isn't the best, And the reserving of sun beds is horrendous here it's the worst hotel we've ever stayed in for this!!(the main pool for hotel guest) we'd be on our way to the parks at 7am and they'd be people running putting towels down.....
