Our room was on the 15th floor and had a small balcony. The room was spacious, very clean, and housekeeping is impeccable. We spent the day poolside, which was very easy to do with all of the family friendly amenities to include splash pad. 3 fun waterslides and the lazy river. Plenty of chairs were available and there are 2 poolside bars and outdoor dining. I was very impressed with the customer service, and the courteous service from the entire staff. After dinner, which we had at the Ritz, my other review will rave about that incredible experience, we enjoyed nightcap at the lobby bar. I can’t sing the praises of this experience enough! Read less

They redid the corner units where the room is really bigger but it doesn’t compensate the shower. I am petite 5’2 that weighs 114 lbs. I was so tight in that new bathtub/shower and being so careful as to not throw water all over bathroom since they put half a glass as door. I rather stay in the regular rooms with a bathtub and a shower separate and much much bigger. Also left the room at 9 am to come back at 4 with a room that was not done. Had to get ready and no clean towels. I am So disappointed this time. So make sure you don’t get the corner rooms. In the picture bathtub looks big but it’s like 12-14 inches wide Read less

The staff, service and amenities are outstanding. From the valet to front desk, bartender to poolside dining. This place is the best. Beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds! Took my grandchildren 6 and 7 here/universal for a before school starts trip. The lazy river pool and water slides were amazing after long days at the park. I did find that the water in shower was very hard to regulate, being either volcanic hot or pit of hell hot..

I booked this hotel after a ton of research for a family vacation. I wanted to make sure that our children had a lot to do just in case we never made it to the parks. Let me just say that this hotel is gorgeous! The decor is amazing, the pools are beautiful as well and there are a ton of restaurants. We booked what they call “the generational suite” which is 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Everything is handled through curated services. It was wonderful and the kids were so excited to have their own spaces. They had water slides, a water obstacle course, an Escape Room experience and a small game room. Service at this hotel is top tier. Food is pricey but it’s a hotel in Orlando so we expected as much. It wasn’t outrageous and the food was pretty good at most of the restaurants. They also have a full service Starbucks which was also a plus. Some of the restaurants needed better kids options, we were a bit limited when it came to choices because kids don’t always like elaborate sauces and fusions. Now here’s the bad part- we booked a cabana for two days by the pool area. The cabana floors are wood slats not cement. On the first day I was stung by a FIRE ANT. I needed immediate medical care and was out of commission for days. Actually when I returned from vacation I still had medical issues from the bite. Totally put a damper on the vacation. Apparently there are fire ants all around the pool grounds. My husband was but several times. Another lady had them all in her bag and was frantically shaking them out. The hotel staff was very nice and did give us room credits but I was shocked that this hotel didn’t take better precautions or treat the grounds better. Outside of that experience the hotel is great and so is the staff. Well worth the money and the kids had a great time. Read less
