The JW has gone off the deep end. Unable to find our rooms upon arrival, overcharging our room $200, getting locked out of our rooms, room service with empty condiment containers, and roaches crawling into our room from the stairwell. Not only that, but good luck getting ahold of accounting. I called them 5 times and got disconnected every time… Read more

We decided to try out the J.W. Marriott for this overnight stay this time vs. the Ritz-Carlton the last time we had to overnight in Orlando. While the facility itself was impressive, there were things that just missed the mark. On the top of the list were exorbitant additional fees. Valet parking wound up costing $57.51 (self park was not significantly less) and the resort fee was $53 that they so nicely pointed out is actually a "$261 Value"! - all for things I'd never use for my 1-night stay except for high speed internet that I get for free because of my Bonvoy status. As for my room upgrade that was subject to availability - I could have booked an upgraded room on the app while being told by the check-in clerk that upgrades were not available, suddenly became available with push-back. The suite that we had was in good shape and I presume was renovated within the past few years, however, the decor was very drab and depressing along with very dim lighting. I understand that decor is a personal preference and may not be a problem for others. We left a privacy tag on our door when we went out to dinner as we did not need turndown service or want anyone entering while we were away, and returned after dinner to find that a welcome amenity was delivered while we were out. Knife and Spoon was advertised as closing at 7pm and when we arrived at 5:15, we were told it closes at 5. We did have a very good dinner at Whisper Creek Farm. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet at Citron. This is not the place to stay for an overnight stay, however, if you're visiting with family/kids and want to take advantage of the waterpark and various amenities, by all means this is a great option. Food at breakfast restaurant is exceptionally good: I still drem of those chia oats. Kerima and Noel that work there: wonderful people that make this place so special. Thank you guys! If I have minor remarks, it is about leased restaurant on the property: Primio had terrible service and mediocre food- it is supposed to be posh and upscale. It is kind of sad that you cant get a plain burger at an american hotel. Read less

This is a very beautiful property. They have multiple restaurants here along with an amazing pool and slide area (not just for the kids but adult size, which is awesome). The service is great, staff is pleasant and the rooms are comfortable. Thank you.
