Good hotel but things need looking at

Staid for 11 nights. Have to agree with the others that the rooms were cleaned every day but minimum done. My bed was made but even though the sheets were dirty as spilt drink on them not changed so slept in dirty bedding for a week. Carpet only vacuumed once in our stay brushed every other day so feet often black when walking on it. Very dated… Read more

Staid for 11 nights. Have to agree with the others that the rooms were cleaned every day but minimum done. My bed was made but even though the sheets were dirty as spilt drink on them not changed so slept in dirty bedding for a week. Carpet only vacuumed once in our stay brushed every other day so feet often black when walking on it. Very dated but everything worked and they kept up with the maintenance, Didn’t want a bath as the enamel had worn off the bottom and was very scratchy and yes air con kept us awake as so noisy but at least we had aircon. Staff were very helpful and friendly and food was very good but only ate a few times in hotel restaurant. There is only a complimentary bus to Universal you have to pay to go to the other parks by bus and only pick up once a day. Pool was brilliant at the end of the day but far too busy if you did not reserve beds early you had nowhere to sit seemed like everyone was using the pool near us. There was maintenance work being carried in other parts so not sure if any other pools open and work was done with the minimum amount of disruption as possible. Three stars is due to state of rooms and beds not being changed even though dirty. Read less

Ideal location for attractions

This hotel located on International Drive is ideal for visiting all the attractions with a free shuttle to and from the hotel to Universal Studios . The hotel is a bit dated but functional . Plenty of parking , nice restaurant and bar. There’s an outside pool which was lovely .

Great location but dated and dirty room with very noisy air con. Bring ear plugs.

Only given a 3 for location and breakfast. The room size and layout is exactly the same as Disneys Caribbean beach resort, that's where the similarity ends. Only given a 3 for location and breakfast. The room size and layout is exactly the same as Disneys Caribbean beach resort, that's where the similarity ends. The bathroom floor was filthy and I had to clean it before using, used toilet roll and picked up a large amount of hair and debris. From then on I wore my crocs and the one time I didn't my feet were dirty from the carpet. The whole room was in need of updating . No where to hang wet swimwear or clothes. Rooms dark as the windows have to be tinted so that people walking past don't stare in. Although it's close to he i4 we couldn't hear the noise of that over the din of the air con. We only went for a week, we couldn't have stayed there any longer than that. The buffet breakfast was good with a great selection. Shuttle bus only goes 3 times in the morning and late afternoon/evening and ubers are a nightmare for pickups from universal and cost $18. No parking or resort fees which is a real bonus. Have been going to Orlando for many years and this was the best location on idrive but the worst hotel we've stayed in. We had asked to move because of the noise of the air con and were told emphatically NO! The 3 stars is generous. Read less

Poor dark rooms and noisy from the adjacent I4 motorway small pools and poor wi fi I guess you pay for what you get but very basic accommodation ….. plus points good location and powerful shower and free parking and no resort free for a small amount of money you can get a lot better accommodation such as at the nearby sister hotel the Rosen Plaza

All the food in the bar is excellent and has a great atmosphere every night also special mention to julio and jose on security but all the staff are very friendly and helpful we will be back again very soon ... ...
