Image of the Tripadvisor rating Security Issues. Do not stay here!

Very bad security policies. If you hang a DND sign on your door, security will break into your room every morning & tell you it’s a “welfare check”. Even after I removed the sign, this continued. Very disturbing & security guard Michael was very rude & even threatening until I acted like my husband wanted to speak to him. I was told if I was not… Read more

Brown, brown, brown! That’s the only way to describe literally everything in this hotel! It’s in desperate need of a makeover, honestly it’s depressing, so dark in the rooms, loud air conditioning and noise from the I4, the patio doors didn’t open and were very dirty around the railings at the bottom, we were on the 8th floor and didn’t have any… Read more

It’s in desperate need of a makeover, honestly it’s depressing, so dark in the rooms, loud air conditioning and noise from the I4, the patio doors didn’t open and were very dirty around the railings at the bottom, we were on the 8th floor and didn’t have any problem with pests as others have mentioned though. Beds are decently comfortable although quite a bit smaller than we are used to for a two bed room in Orlando. More storage would be good and a plug where the coffee maker is as we had to move it to the bedside table in order to be able to use it. Housekeeping did a good job of replacing towels and cleaning bathroom, however they didn’t replace toiletries and we had to ask for them in reception. Reception and maintenance staff were friendly and would speak to you, housekeeping were not so much, would rather be watching their phones at full volume than acknowledge visitors were there. I am unsure if I would stay here again until this hotel gets a good deep clean and makeover but for the price you pay I guess it’s alright, if you can overlook the BROWN Read less

Stayed here twice in the last three years, we stayed at the Rosen Inn at Lake Buena Vista last year as we were more Disney based but this year we did Universal so came back to this Rosen Inn in March for two week. All the staff are polite and helpful that we came across, the elevators are much quicker this year, super fast so they must have been refreshed as the year before they were slow so thumbs up for that. We stayed on the 9th floor, fantastic view of the Orlando area. The hotel has lots of parking but if your visiting the Universal resort you don’t need a car, 20-30 minutes easy walk or a free shuttle bus put on by the hotel also I drive bus which is cheap and Uber or lyft is not expensive, the hotel has installed two EV charging points which is good with the expansion of EV’s they can easily fit in more charging stations. Rooms are clean and beds made daily, my only complaint is that the floor could have been vacuumed more than once a week, my tv didn’t work, when I looked the tv wire had fallen out the back & fallen apart but after 10 mins fiddling with it I plugged it in and it worked for the next two weeks so all good in the end, I didn’t want to bother the staff but I’m sure they would have fixed it but I like to try myself first. I would like to know if the hotel is recycling waste ? We had so much plastic bottle waste & with the Orlando Premium Outlets so close we did a lot of shopping which generated lots of paper & plastic waste & over two weeks saw countless other people with big packs of water ect, does this get recycled? I would recommend this hotel and will be returning, it’s great value for money, in a great location, free WiFi, clean and nice staff. Read less

Our stay at the Rosen Inn Closest to Universal, 6327 International Drive, Orlando Fl, 32819, was for 11 nights. We had a great time there!!! The staff at the Rosen was so customer-oriented!!! Whenever we contacted them, they were so pleasant and they fulfilled our requests so quickly. The hotel offered great prices for a 3 star hotel. This location was wonderful for going to the Universal Studios with a free shuttle from the hotel 4 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. Also, right in front of the hotel were stops for the I-Trolley, which ran every 15 minutes from one end of International Drive till the other end (approximately a 30 minutes trip each way). The city bus also stopped right in front of the hotel. We did not need a rental car!!! We hope to return to the Orlando area in the future and look forward to staying at the Rosen Inn!!! Read less

Paid less than £300 for 5 nights through TUI. Hotel is in a great location for all attractions. Our room was in the smaller motel style building, on the grand floor facing the pool. Was concerned about noise from the street and passing guests but no issues whatsoever. Room had everything we needed and was cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. Only negative was being ambushed literally as we set foot in reception with offers of a ‘free’ cruise, all part of a ‘welcome gift’ which is nothing of the sort and is clearly a Timeshare thing. Wouldn’t have been so bad, but it’s the last thing needed after a 9 hour flight when you’ve got luggage and not even seen your room yet! Would definitely return though, as it was the only negative aspect of the stay. Read less
