The hotel

The Rosen Inn International is situated in the heart of International Drive, the main entertainment centre in Orlando, so it's in a great location to explore the shops, bars and restaurants that line this popular road. It's also ridiculously easy to find, as it's next to the world's largest McDonalds! On top of that, it is just a 5 minute drive to Universal Orlando Resort™ with all those fantastic roller coasters, special effects and 3D rides. Full-on buffet breakfasts and dinners are served in the hotel's Fountain View Restaurant, and they have some very special discounts, exclusively for you. There's also a Lite Bite Deli for a snack on the run. The rooms have a modern and fresh new look whilst keeping that much needed comfort at the end of the day. Including a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, you can store your own refreshing cold drinks and make snacks for hungry kids! There are two swimming pools just waiting for you to leap into after a hard day exploring the theme parks.

728 rooms on 6 floors in 2 buildings with 5 lifts (plus 2 buildings on 2 floors with no lifts). All with air-conditioning, TV with pay-per-view films, complimentary WiFi, coffee-making facilities, mini-fridge, microwave, safe, iron and board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, with rollaway bed*.

The rooms weren’t clean, very noisy air conditioning. Had to put white noise to drown it out along with the people shouting outside our rooms. Cockroaches in one of the rooms. The parking and location are it’s only plus points, wouldn’t book again.

One wing of this hotel is a motel and they don't tell you that, they just put you there. We had to asked to be moved to the hotel wing. The hotel is older and it shows. Overall it is fine, and very centrally located. DO NOT EAT THE BREAKFAST BUFFET. It is like $17 and the food is not good. It was making me sick as I ate it. I ended up making a… Read more

I stayed at this hotel in late February to Early March. Upon arrival our rooms were not ready and we did have to wait 45 mins to 1 hour for them to be cleaned and ready for us. We arrived to our rooms and they were very clean, all of the toiletries were stocked up and there was a wide range of towels in the bathroom. The main room was nice and neat with both beds made and they were clean. We had two rooms next to each other on the ground floor, one of the rooms was adapted to suit disabilities. We had two double rooms that slept up to 4 people. The room was a basic room that did the job although I would say it did need a touch up with new decor. We walked round the hotel and saw lots of different areas. The pools were nice and clean and rarely crowded. The grounds and seating areas were well taken care off. The over all service in the hotel was brilliant, the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a quiet hotel that is still in the heart of everything then this hotel is the perfect choice. We had our breakfast included most days with the virgin atlantic service and it was a basic breakfast that rarely changed although it did the job if you are out early to visit the parks. This hotel is right in the middle of everything, there are plenty of places to eat, shop and explore. There is a garage (gas station) across the road from the main entrance to the hotel and it is very cheap and was ideal for light meals. There are easy transport links to shopping malls and they are ideal to take you up and down international drive if you don't/can't walk all of it. The transport can take you to seaworld and universal. There is a bus you can get to disney but we found it easier and quicker to get a uber/taxi. This hotel is also close to the airport and we found it cheaper to stay here rather then on a disney resort. Overall I absolutely loved this hotel and as a first timer here I would absolutely recommend it to family and friends, my Grandpa who I came here with has been staying at this hotel for years and it was ideal having someone experienced with me. I will definitely be coming and staying here again. Read less

The rooms were clean. The staff was really friendly. Housekeeping is excellent and it was so nice to return from the parks each day to a clean and quiet room. Highly recommend this hotel. Great value with free shuttles to Universal. The gift shop was well stocked which was so handy.
