Set amongst the attractions and entertainment district of International Drive, this award-winning hotel offers a wide range of eateries including fine dining in Jack's Place and buffet breakfast in Cafe Matisse. Where is it

A 10-minute drive to Universal Orlando Resort™, 15 minutes to Walt Disney World Resort, and across the street from Pointe Orlando which is full of shops, restaurants, clubs and cinema with IMAX® 3D Theatres. Driving time from airport: 20 minutes.

Hotel information

800 guestrooms on 14 floors in 1 building with 6 lifts. All with air-conditioning, 32" flat-screen cable TV with pay-per-view films and video games*, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, iron and board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children with a rollaway bed or cot*.

The pressure came from family by the way, not the hotel. We stayed here for 2 weeks and couldn’t fault a thing, loved the pool area with bar and restaurant, great onsite restaurants and all the staff we encountered were great. We had 3 rooms between us and my sister is a wheelchair user who had an accessible room which she loved. We viewed a number of different hotels while we were there for a future visit but none of them matched up for her so we’re committed to the Plaza and can’t wait to return. Read less

Stayed here for Hurricane Milton and I have used this property before for such a purpose. Hotel offers discount of $99 for a quality room, well appointed and very clean. We were offered buffet discounts for breakfast, lunch or dinner for the storm without asking. Hotel was fully staffed (at least it appeared so) and had the staff's family allowed to stay on property so staff could focus and work without worry. We checked out a day early, but around 4PM and were not charged for the second day. I was impressed with the staff (all friendly and helpful), the way the hotel priced the stay due to serious weather conditions and not try to price gouge. Told them he is willing to pay extra if necessary. They said they can put rose petals on the table, dessert and have champagne on the table. They told him we can have a somewhat private table. Literally 1 hour later we go down to eat and all he prearranged extras was not there. The food was cold and the service was horrible. The place was not busy at all and had a lot of empty seats available. We spent over $200 for the meal and drinks for crap service. Pretty much ruined our anniversary. Read less

PRO'S - 6 elevators, spacious and very fast operating - Good sized rooms, with an easy to use safe and quiet and effective fridge plus easy to operate AC - Inexpensive laundrette facilities -Corridor style hotel not the balcony style that there is a lot of on International Drive, better to insulate your room from the noise of others - 24hrs quick service hot food outlet, well priced, good variety, quick and delicious -Maid service every day. Many on I-Drive do every 3rd day since Covid - Directly outside a southbound I-Ride stop -Son had an actual bed in our twin room instead of fold out sofa bed CON'S - The two nearest north bound I-Ride stops (on opposite side of the road) are a 7/8min walk. - Bakery sold me a chocolate twist pastry with mold on it, returned it two minutes later and was inexplicably refused a refund because I didn't have a receipt. - My wife and I are 5ft 6inch tall and slim build, the bed is not wide enough, we struggled. Majority of couples would REALLY struggle -New nightclub opposite blasts out dance music Fri/Sat nights. We were on 13th floor with ear plugs in and it sounded like it was in the next room, unbelievably loud. Not sure what time it stops, definitely after midnight. Staff can not do anything about it OVERALL - There is a lot to like about this place. Location is good, better than most on international drive but we couldn't stay here again due to the bed size and nightclub noise. Read less
