Outstanding place to visit. There was an easy check in and the rooms were top tier with a beautiful view of a golf course. If you go to Beautiful Orlando you must stay there. Security on sight with a gate guard and the whole nine. I didn’t know about it place and just drove up and glad I did. I will definitely be back when I return to… Read more

Here is what I loved about this hotel. - The pool temperature was warm (even when the weather was not). - The bar staff at the pool were amazing! - The food at the bar and the market was good enough. - Who cares if the hallways are dark and the room decor a little weathered; the room was large, the bed was comfortable, the TV is modern and large, and the bathroom was clean. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was weak. - The restaurant row was perfect on those nights I did not want to leave the hotel. We ate at both the Italian and Burger spots. Both were amazing! And the beer selection was local craft beers. - If you want to leave for dinner... everything is 10-15 minutes away. - The grounds are beautiful! - Check in, check out and valet was a breeze. Can you tell I loved my time at this hotel? Read less

Going big doesn't always mean quality. Rosen Shingle Creek is supersized. Everything seems so out of scale and large from the moment you walk into the lobby to just about everywhere you go. Bigger isn't always better. To me, it seems as if this hotel is so large to distract you from the mediocre styling and furnishings. It's just a huge Motel 6. The rooms are dated and dark. The shower is extremely disappointing. There is little water pressure as a mist of water sprays you down. A truck stop shower would be better. The hotel still uses single use toiletries, something I have been seeing less and less of in my travels. Most hotels have now switched over to large pump toiletries. This added to the disappointment. The dining experience in the hotel is simply awful. I had a reservation at their 'steak house', A Land Remembered for 8pm. I was told I would have to wait at least 20-30 minutes for my table. I opted to go to the Mi Casa Mexican restaurant. The service was horrible, and the food was horrible. About the only good thing I can say about this hotel is they have a really cool market in the lower level that's open 24 hours. I should have just gotten some pizza or a sandwich there. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Read less

Very dated place to stay. The room we stayed in had dark brown furniture and the paint on the ceilings was light blue? To be honest we didn’t interact much with the staff as one visit to the concierge to ask for a map of the area was enough. If you are staying for a conference then sadly you are stuck with it. Very dated place to stay. The room we stayed in had dark brown furniture and the paint on the ceilings was light blue? To be honest we didn’t interact much with the staff as one visit to the concierge to ask for a map of the area was enough. If you are staying for a conference then sadly you are stuck with it. We were travelling and wouldn’t stay here again unless they refurb the whole place. The food outlets were simply full of conference guests and the queue at the coffee shop basically meant we ate away from the hotel on each of the 12 night vacation. Read less

I had to stay here for a work conference and I hope I don’t have to go back — at least not until this location is renovated. My large room was overstuffed with heavy and worn brown furniture and a smelly mini-fridge. The hallways are dark and it is difficult to find the elevators. It made me feel enclosed and down. Walking between the hotel and conference area requires a bunch of ups and downs across a long space with very limited access to windows or natural light. The strip of restaurants and bars in the hotel is similar to an old airport or dead mall. The place has a lot of potential but needs serious work with a sense of what people want when traveling. They charge a premium price for a below average product and pile on a string of fees for business services. No miles or perks available. There are two good bits: The people who work here are kind, attentive and welcoming. At a dinner for about 2,000 the service was precise and efficient. The pools are great and the ability to walk from the hotel right to the golf course was fun. Read less
