It's quiet, adequate parking, nice views, good computer center. I was an older woman traveling alone. I felt safe. Kitchen was good for my needs. Photographer on staff was friendly. Pools attractive. Check in via a sales associate a bit confusing but saved me from standing in line

We visited Orlando to do the usual tourist things, Disneyworld, universals etc. When we arrived we were first told to go and have a chat with the concierge as they would have some deals for us. He first gave us some vouchers then told us as we were British we could attend a breakfast for free. He then told us we would get $150 for attending. I then quickly started to work out this was some sort of timeshare meeting. We paid thousands for this holiday via Virgin so we didn’t appreciate someone trying to sell us a timeshare opportunity when we first arrived. He then wanted $20 from us to secure the booking......the hotel were not giving out a good impression. After disagreeing to the breakfast we went to our rooms. We got there and there were bugs EVERYWHERE. When I say this I’m not talking about 3-4 bugs I’m talking about 50 plus bugs. Most were alive on the walls and the rest were all dead over the floor. After doing some research we found out they are called love bugs and only come out in May and September. This wasn’t the worst of it. Relaxing by the pool just didn’t happen. You would end up with them all over you. They were also all dead in the swimming pool. I’ve never been on a holiday before where it was impossible to relax. A lot of people were complaining about these bugs and the staff said there was nothing they could do. When we went to the waterparks, theme parks, shopping centres, basically anywhere that wasn’t our hotel there wasn’t a problem with these bugs. Was really disappointing as it ruined our stay. Another thing to add was there is only one bar and one restaurant for the evening. Things got very boring quite quickly. You would need to hire a car to be able to reach other bars and restaurants outside of the complex. Overall not the best stay and I wouldn’t be returning Read less

We have just returned from our yearly vacation in Orlando, and once again stayed at this excellent resort. We stayed here almost 12 months ago to the day, and on our return found very little had changed. We stayed in Block two this year on the second floor, again in a 2 bedroom apartment. The accommodation was exactly the same as last year, even down to the very low seats that are provided around the dining table. The only difference I noticed was the cost of everything in the resort which seemed that little more expensive. This may have been due to the current exchange rate, which was 16 cents less to the Dollar than last year. However taking everything into account I would still recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great relaxing holiday. I hopefully will be returning in 2020. Just one thing to point out at the end of the holiday the hotel reception phoned to me to let me know they had a free gift waiting for me. What was the gift I hear you say? Well it was a Picaboo voucher valued at just under $45 to have a special gift book made up of our holiday snaps. Sounds great as you are thinking these books can’t be all that expensive so the voucher should more or less cover the cost of a small book. I got back to the UK and registered with Picaboo as instructed on the gift voucher spent about 2 hours putting in all the information on what they said was their $19.99 book, only to be told at the very end of the procedure this so called free book would cost me about an additional $40 in postage and packaging. So my so called free voucher wasn’t so free after all. Sheraton you don’t need to be involved with companies who are running scams on your clients, keep away from these so called freebies, they do your company no good at all and leave your customers with a bad experience. Unless the offers you are making are genuine don’t bother to offer anything at all, it gives the impression you where in on the con. A lot of the bad reviews I have read on this resort are all related to the time share sales experience, I personally never had any problem with this as I was left alone, but the last part of the gift just seemed another sales ploy to make money from me and find a last minute way of getting that little extra out of the holiday maker. The property has an excellent location. Rooms are great for families having most of what's needed for a similar to home experience. I've been here on several occasions and my family loves the place and ample rooms. Greeting staff is great. I have always been very well received.
