We really enjoyed this vacation club property (booked like a regular hotel not through ownership). Our villa was clean and felt recently refurbished and was well equipped. Unlike the other Vistana in Orlando, you can easily get around to all of the pools and area here on foot as there are well marked sidewalks and the complex isn’t massive. There is a Publix (grocery store) and the Outlets less than a 5 minute drive so you can easily stock your kitchen and save a little money cooking and making snacks instead of eating every meal out. We had a great impression when we first stayed at this property two years ago in January. At our request, we stayed on a high floor in the St. Augustine Tower, where all the rooms were renovated. It was almost a perfect stay at the resort. This time, we stayed for five nights toward the end of July 2024. Disappointment #1: The stress began during check-in when they didn't assign us the tower we had requested months in advance through Marriott Bonvoy reservations. Their first excuse was that they accommodate guests on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to timeshare owners. Disappointment #2: They placed us in the Bella Tower. Although spacious, the room was outdated, and there was a huge bathtub next to my queen-sized bed when it should have been inside the bathroom with a door. Disappointment #3: Some of the towels were old and ripped. Oddly, the cleaning staff hardly spoke any English. Disappointment #4: Guest services persistently tried to sell us timeshare units. After checking in, I immediately received a call from sales inviting me to attend a session. Despite declining the invitation, they kept harassing us with timeshare offers. Disappointment #5: On the day they granted us a late checkout, a guy named Emilio from the Sales Desk woke us up early in the morning to inform us they had a gift for us upon checkout. Emilio had already left a voicemail at 7:30 a.m. and then called again to remind us about the gift, which sounded really sketchy, so I never picked it up. Frankly, I will be looking for another place to spend my money. This resort is nice but poorly managed and in decline. Read less

Just an overall wonderful clean resort. Hope to return soon. Read less

Within minutes of checking in they already are trying to sell us on a time share. I knew the mail in offer was too good to be true. Within minutes of checking in they already are trying to sell us on a time share. I knew the mail in offer was too good to be true. They signed us up for a 90min presentation and we declined but they kept insisting on it and we needed to check in due to other people of our party needing to get into the room plus exhaustion and hunger from traveling here all day. We plan on canceling the presentation as they said we could. We’ll see how that goes. So far not impressed but also not surprised. Read less
