The hotel

When you’re booking a trip to the theme parks in Orlando, you don’t imagine that you’d be able to find a haven of relaxation and luxury right in the centre – well here it is. The JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa sits within the gates of Walt Disney World Resort, with a shuttle service taking you to the park gates in no time at all. The action is right around you, but when you step into the resort you’l find yourself in a 75-acre protected oasis where you can recuperate. The rooms have a sleek, sophisticated design, with ample space in the family suites for larger groups. And from the family suite accommodations to the rock climbing, garden golf, and the activity schedule at the kids club, there’s always something to keep the little ones entertained, rain or shine, whatever their hobbies. Whilst they’re occupied in resort, be sure to visit the spa by JW, inspired by the rejuvenating warmth of the ‘Sunshine State’, these treatments will have you feeling your best in no time. Disney Springs is just 5 miles away, with its wide variety of restaurants and bars on offer, but the JW Marriott have plenty of their own to save you the trip on those tired evenings. illume is a particular favourite for guests, located on the 9th floor, giving you a great vantage point for the Disney fireworks whilst enjoying Asian inspired tapas and fresh sushi. For those chilled poolside afternoons, check out the happy hour at Unreserved Beer Garden, where you can enjoy a range of craft beers or a chilled glass of rose in the late afternoon sun.

Staff was super friendly. Pool was nice, but a little too shallow. Building is really nice with a good kids play zone. Very convenient to all Disney parks. Pizza in restaurant was not too expensive and was very good and I am a harsh critic of pizza.

Today I had a 100 minute massage with Sharon and it changed me. This woman's hands are Blessed!! There is a reason her name is mentioned in so many reviews. God has anointed that woman's hands to relieve stress. I floated out of the spa and up to my room for a nap!! No need to search SHARON IS THEE ONE!!

I had the opportunity to take several classes from fitness instructors Susie and Ann. I had a great workout and enjoyed several Pilates and yoga classes during my stay. Susie and Ann very nice, friendly and helpful during my classes. I thoroughly enjoyed them and it was a wonderful way to start my day. Was such a treat that three fitness classes were offered in the morning every day and I definitely took advantage of that. I look forward to our stay here at this hotel again, thank you. Read less

first day we were welcomed with a “free upgrade” to the firework view. you couldnt see the fireworks but we were overlooking the air con system. so our free upgrade was obviously the result of someone else complaining, it was obvious we got their room. it was insulting they called it an upgrade. Rooms weren’t serviced even though we’d been away from the hotel from 9am until 9pm no clean cups, no refills of coffee, milk etc. beds etc. they offered to service the room at 10.30 pm but we needed to get to bed. its not like they even offered a coffee while we waited. The following day beds were done but nothing to drink out of, we had coffee but no cups. Also glasses from room service weren’t collected form previous night. today we wanted to grab a meal at the restaurant but we were told that the entire restaurant was closed for a private event. the restaurant is listed on booking.com as part of the facilities. we could have nachos by the pool. if you are choosing bonnet creek choose the wyndham grande. it has a great firework view overlooking the lake. they service the rooms. the service is 100% better and its about 1/2 the price. the Marriot has corridors littered with room service plates that stay there all day. its dirty and does not feel like quality. This has put us off the Marriot brand Read less
