This was our 3rd stay but first since Sonesta took over and you can definitely see a decline in the property. Problems started from check in, double charged deposit, which took 6 weeks to be returned blaming my bank. We knew the building was tired and a proposed refurb has been delayed, but since our last visit the whole complex has deteriorated, rooms very tired and not the cleanest. Had a leaky dishwasher that flooded the kitchen, maintenance team were there quick and fixed the issue but no follow up from front desk even to check if we were happy with the fix. The last straw was check out, we asked for a late check out for which there is a charge, i was happy to pay ( even though when managed by staybridge they never charged as we always stay a min 10days ) but one manager advised 2pm was ok and then the day manager refused to honour the time and we could only get 1pm, ended up leaving at 12 just to get out. Will not be returning until its refurbed and hopefully all of front desk have some customer training. Read less

Well where do I start From the $150 (deposit) that takes 4-6w to allegedly get reimbursed (we still have t had ours btw) to the absolutely disgraceful disgustingly smelly rooms .. oh my word .. I have never in my life smelt anything like this before.. and it’s in them all ..! The mattresses are stained and the so called air con units fall to bits .. The manager doesn’t care because they are so thick skinned about it all they’ve heard it seen it and are immune to it.. They even had the Gaul to say teh rancid smell even in reception was “ FRESH LINEN” plug-ins .. haha honestly.. We booked a week in teh USA as a previous holiday was just as bad in turkey .. I wish I’d actually gone back there as trying to get room changes at this Hotel took us 2-3 days of our holiday ..! Tui didn’t help neither they said even with teh smell it was an “unjustified move” hmm maybe the rep that attended had a ‘unjustified nose too’ because she agreed it was awful. The pool was ok but the place was massive and only had 10 sunbeds & 3 sunshades .. hmm ok then ..for over 300 guests how did that work .. But hey I can say one thing they had the hottest jacuzzi ever !! The beds and cleanliness however lacked and I was bitten by some kind of bed bug that resulted in me having to attend hospital when I returned home .. It’s miles away from anywhere so unless your driving Uber is your only option $20-30 to universal and $20 to Disney !! Same to the malls ..! It’s allegedly being closed down soon for a full refurb (which is much needed) but we won’t return reason being it’s just too far away from anything and anywhere !! Just returned from 7 nights here. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Suite was spacious and clean. We had a ground floor suite facing the courtyard. Beds comfy. Restaurants, Walgreens & Supermarket all within walking distance. Pool well kept. Courtyard lovely to relax in the evening. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stayed here from 23 until 27 August, no complaints whatsoever about room or facilities we both really enjoyed our stay and found it perfect for our needs, requested a ground floor as husband is disabled and this request was honoured, had an issue over parking where we were told (apparently by corporate) that accessible parking was free, it wasn't even after showing proof of this, they still charged us and denied we had been told this. On checkout I then spoke to Scott who was lovely and agreed to follow the issue up, we went off on a 7 night cruise when we returned there was no sign of my deposit or parking charge totalling $213 I emailed Scott directly as he had given .e his email address and he replied saying due to the hurricane and labor day that week they got busy but had sorted the parking issue and my funds were released, another week passed with no sign off my funds so as we were staying with friends outside Orlando by now I returned to the hotel and spoke to Bill who is the hotel auditor he disappeared out back and returned and said he didn't know why funds were not released but he just called somewhere and it would be with me in 24 hours, another week and no sign of the monies? Took another hours drive back to hotel spoke to another person who could not understand why it wasn't released he said there was a block on it??? I asked to speak with a manager and got told no one available until 6 am next day, once again I returned to hotel at 11 am and got told manager wasn't in until 12, so as we were returning to UK that day I waited, eventually spoke to manager called Diane who was so unhelpful she insisted it was my bank/credit cards fault I had spoken with cc company 3 times during this time and they assured me the monies have not been released by the hotel at all there has been no status change since funds were taken. Despite me telling Diane this she was adamant that it was now nothing to do with the hotel she had worked in banking for years and knows how it works??? She had no interest in resolving the issue, so almost a month later I'm back In the UK and $213 out of pocket!!! I feel as if I have been totally scammed and lied to now and am now in process of contacting corporate to get this dealt with. Over 8 hours in return journeys to the hotel to try and resolve this and the manager could not even offer an apology it has really let the hotel down after an enjoyable stay! Read less

Rooms were a good size and had everything you needed but are old. Having to cable tie the curtains so people can't see in isn't good and the carpets are very worn . Pool area needs painting as flaking off into the water . We decided to check out early to another hotel and still have not received our deposit back to had any response from the hotel
