Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park - Live the fairy tale
Fantasy becomes a reality in Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. The Park, located near Orlando in Florida, combines thrilling rides and attractions with your favourite Disney characters, all topped off with a sprinkling of Disney magic.
Magic Kingdom Park has 6 enchanted lands with masses of attractions to choose from, and it’s the most popular theme park in the world, with over 20 million visitors every year.
As well as these five, you can also add a whole host of other Magic Kingdom Park rides and attractions to your must-see list, including zooming across the London sky to Never Land with Peter Pan, screaming your way around a mountain on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, taking a romp through Great Moments in American History with the Muppets, or of course, meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
With all that fun, you’re going to need to refuel the family at some point. There are plenty of dining options dotted all around the Park.
There’s over 35 different restaurants and eatery options in the Park, but here are some highlights:
Dine with Disney princesses and enjoy a meal fit for a princess. The castle’s kitchens are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Booking required.
Get a taste of New England right in the middle of Florida with this seafood restaurant specialising in east coast delicacies like New England clam chowder and fried shrimp. Our favourite has to be the lobster rolls, which are just out of this world.
Enter the Beast's enchanted castle for an unforgettable dining experience—bon appétit!
Unsurprisingly, there’s plenty of great family-friendly accommodation right on the doorstep of Magic Kingdom Park. Our top five Disney Hotels are:
The closest hotel to the Magic Kingdom Park is the height of retro, '70s cool. The stylish, gourmet 15th-floor California Grill restaurant offers incredible bird's-eye views over the Magic Kingdom Park.
Capturing everything that’s best about the American northwest, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge celebrates both the natural beauty of the country and its Native American traditions too. There’s even a geyser that shoots water high into the sky every hour for that authentic ‘Yellowstone Park’ experience.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the crème de la crème of the Disney Resort hotels. Here, the entire family can enjoy Disney at its grandest, with lavish, turn-of-the-century décor, spectacular views and impeccable service.
Tropical gardens, lavish luaus and calm waves characterise Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Gentle people, laughter and good cheer help every member of the family to capture that laid-back South Pacific mood.
Our advice is to go for the only ticket you’ll need for your trip – Disney’s Magic Ticket*. Choose from 7 or 14 day passes that give you access to not just Magic Kingdom Park, but other parks and attractions too, including:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

Disney’s Magic Tickets also include Memory Maker**, where you get unlimited digital downloads of your Walt Disney World holiday photos, and the new complimentary digital service Disney Genie, which lets you create your best Disney Park day with a recommended personal itinerary based on your own attraction and dining interests.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
You can contact our team by emailing feedback.backhome@virginholidays.com to discuss options on unused portions of your holiday. If you need to contact our team about amending an existing holiday or requesting a refund please log in to manage my booking.
