This is an amazing hotel in an amazing location that I've visited many times before, but a venue is nothing without the people and the service. The usual high standard had slipped at my last visit but has been well and truly restored. The service in the club lounge is world class, thanks mainly to Harshal and the development of a service focussed team - everyone is made to feel special in a genuine way, and not just in the lounge. They coped very well in busy times too. The food is excellent as is the attention to detail. The hotel has fantastic restaurants, most of which are available without supplement on the dine around scheme (half-board). The pool has been refurbished to a very high standard and the grounds are well-kept and very pleasant to walk around, especially at night. Overall it is a luxurious hotel and welcomes everyone. I thoroughly recommend it, particularly for a get-away from it all, relaxing break. That said, nothing is too far away in Dubai and there is plenty to do at the hotel. They have also introduced an excellent e-Butler facility using WhatsApp which covers all services (concierge, room service, restaurant booking etc.), is very easy to use, responsive and means you can get everything organised from your sun-lounger! Finally, thank you to all staff for making my stay very relaxing and special, in particular Harshal, Aishwarya, Anoosha, Alma, Preet, Zarina and Suman in the club, and Rajandran around the pool. Special thanks to Naleem for bringing his personal knowledge and experience to the healthy juices, and to Jude (in Imperium) for his humour and service - both of these gentlemen provided exceptional levels of service. We were booked on half board with Club, the staff in the club lounge are second to none with outstanding service by Harshal, Naleem, Omar, Alma, Anoosha, Alshwarya, Suman and many more. The restaurants are top class with impressive menus. A special mention to Jude in The Imperium restaurant, Hassan at Al Nafoora, Ravi and Johann in Amala. We enjoyed bottled water, towels, cold water spray, ice lollies and cold flannels round the pool with attentive service from Rajandran. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests, the whole experience was perfect, we couldn't have wished for more. Read less

A little apprehensive on our arrival as our last visit was marred by an unfortunate water leak we quickly realised there was nothing to be concerned about as we experienced Jumeriah Zabeel Saray in all of its Ottoman inspired glory! From manager Harshal who booked us into a palatial suite to 'Amal' who was not only attentive, courteous but always professional (the true gem of the hotel) - the staff at ZS are what an exemplary team in hospitality looks like. With an in-room sauna, gargantuan bathtubs and deckchairs out in the balcony, it was extraordinary to see the faultless efforts of the hardworking cleaning team whose attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Breakfast at the hotel was visually stunning with glass chandeliers and luxurious modern decor and the selection encompassed everything for the Asian palate to the necessities for the Western traveller. Appreciation goes to the staff who delivered prompt and thorough services throughout the week. Only suggestion, maybe create a 'smaller' duplicate version of the juice bar at the other end of the hall as it become exhaustive having first thing in the morning, especially if you are seated near the back?! Taking advantage of the Jumeriah Flavours, we as a group were delightfully immersed into a selection of award-winning restaurants across Dubai for dinner and filly experienced the Emirati take on international cuisine. Zabeel Saray is a pleasantly serene hotel where guests are not having to condone noisy and bad behaviour which is one of the main reasons we always love coming back.. as well as the private cinema, magically dramatic spa and private beach which is just 11 steps away from the Club Lounge (we counted)! Here is to another stay, very soon. Read less
