We are returning to England today after the mot amazing stay at this hotel. It was our first time visiting Dubai and we were unsure of what to expect but we were not let down. Safety at the hotel is incredible I have never seen so many life guards around a pool keeping an eye on the little ones they were fantastic and not an eye was taken off them so huge thumbs up for that as even though we would always be in the pool with ours as we have a 4 year old the older ones were well watched out for. Plenty of life jackets at the pool so no need to bring your own. It did get rather busy and generally most of the loungers were taken by 9am. Our housekeeping staff were fantastic and always went above and beyond, our room was huge. The restaurants were super especially Amala the Indian this was our favourite. Shubni always attended to us most breakfasts and lunches and was so kind and helpful so big thank you to her. I can say that all the staff were impeccable and nothing was to much for them. Thank you for having us and making our stay a memorable one. We will be back next year. Mr and Mrs Simpson and childrenk Read less

Wonderful hotel, with staff that can't do enough for you. Beautiful surroundings, lounges, bars and restaurants. Great location on the Palm but you do have to get a taxi everywhere as nothing is as close as it looks on a map The rooms are spacious, with enormous beds. Fantastic sunken bath and lovely bathroom with extra touches. The view from our room wasn't madly great, but we didn't spend much time sitting on our balcony, we wanted to get out and about! Food and drink is very expensive but excellent. About £5 for a bottle of coke, the cheapest bottle of house red is about £70 and a short and mixer about £25 The pool area is lovely and I've never seen so many lifeguards around an hotel pool...... I counted 6 at one stage. Waiter service to your sunbed, as well as free ice lollies and iced flannels were brought round to cool you down as well as staff appearing at your sunbed to polish up your suncream-smeared sunglasses :) Free bottled water. The only thing I found strange was that the pool area turned into a Hitchcock movie at about 4pm with flocks of birds dive bombing the place and huge birds landing on the sunbeds. I asked one of the staff why they only appeared after 4 and he enlightened me........ during the day there are staff members strategically situated with hooded hawks (I did see a few of these and thought it was some kind of paid attraction). They release the hawks every time the birds get a bit too close. However, they go off duty about 4pm-ish, so the birds are safe and free to come swooping in for any nuts, crisps or food that is available in the pool area. For the most part, very easy wheelchair access although I was helped pushing my friend a couple of times when the going got tough! Everywhere you look at this hotel is a delight to the eye. Pure opulence and luxury. So many beautiful staff uniforms, rather than just one for everyone. Each department had their own, and all stunning and a feast for the eye. We tried all the restaurants and they were all fabulous. All in all a great week and would definitely go back :) Read less

The spa is a gem the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in full. The restaurants are of very high standards and merit a visit even if not a guest of the hotel. The beach is clean and well equipped and offers a nice view of Dubai without being too noisy or overcrowded. The kids area is very good and even the older kids can find facilities for them. The atmosphere and the decor are excellent, very smart and peaceful. Despite the hotel was full, there was never the impression that was overcrowded and it was always very peaceful. The staff are polite, welcoming and very helpful. They even anticipated our need and enhanced our experience. We definitely recommend this hotel in Dubai. Read less

I'm not sure where to start with this review - from start to finish, the hotel and staff were utterly spectacular. Let's start at the beginning - we were greeted by 2 Jumeriah reps at the gate, as soon as we stepped off the plane. We've travelled a lot and know that this isn't normal. Our travel agent had mentioned he had done something nice for us, so we thought that was a nice touch. We definitely were not expecting what came next - whisked though immigration and the rest of the airport like vip's and into 2 huge Lincoln navigators for the transfer to the hotel. The cars drove to a separate entrance from the main hotel and into where the villas are. It took a few minutes to sink in, we'd been given the mother of all upgrades to a 4 bedroom Royal Residence. The villa was enormous, very comfortable and luxurious and we felt very lucky to be there, but the best thing by far were the staff. They made our stay so special with constant surprises, it seemed like their only concern was to make sure we had a fantastic time. The food at all of the restaurants was excellent, especially the Indian, and the upgrade to club was well worth it. In summary, we have stayed at many 5* resorts all over the world, and the level of service we received at the Zabeel was the best we have experienced by a long way. Special thanks to Nawab and Steven the butlers, Maria and Omar the villa managers and Sunil and William. You made our stay something we will remember for a very long time. Read less
