Of course you get modern essentials like free WiFi, but they’ve also loaded on urban extras like the uber-chic outdoor pool zone, the pool table at their Re:mix℠ Lounge, the Live@Aloft music sessions and al fresco ‘front yard’ at W XYZ® Bar, and the 24 hour snack pit stop, Re:fuel by Aloft.

Clean facilities - comfortable rooms. Well kept property. Not a lot of food choices but I did enjoy the vietnamese place down the street, Max Lager's right around the corner, and White Oak Kitchen (which can get real expensive real quick.) The SunTrust building has a food court with Dunkin & Caribou for coffee and breakfast fixes and I opted to walk the 3 blocks to the Waffle House rather than spend the $12 on the hotel's not-as-exciting breakfast. Wish they would up the ante and make the choices in the Re-fuel area a little bit more exciting. Would stay here again. Read less

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much - the staff is super friendly and helpful, the location can't be beat, and there is a nice outdoor bar area to sit and relax. It's not a huge hotel which I also liked. Our only complaint was that the shower flooded our bathroom floor - we were in handicap accessible room though so I don't think there's… Read more

It's not a huge hotel which I also liked. Our only complaint was that the shower flooded our bathroom floor - we were in handicap accessible room though so I don't think there's much they could do about that. We booked the last room available, if it wasn't so full maybe request a different room. Other than that, it was wonderful. Read less

Nice hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good location but not a lot of food choices that were really close. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but their bar serves really good cocktails. Would stay again.

I saw some tough reviews but our experience was much better. I did find it a bit confusing when we checked in on Wed, as there was a performance going on in the lobby but I learned that each Aloft has events. This was one of them. -I too have to agree with an earlier poster about the bathroom light that also turns on the y’all light. It would make sense to illuminate the switch for the bathroom and add another for the hall so you don’t wake others sleeping -all the staff was nice, bartenders, desk and the valet. Great conversations with many of them. Helpful and attentive to our needs -we don’t usually get food at hotels bc we do a lot of restaurants but we ate here a few times during our multi day stay. Bar food menu worked for us. Loved the flatbread pizza and fried zuchini and the shrimp and chix quesadillas. The have many options for the pizza too like pesto etc. it’s all made fresh. -our room came with 2 breakfast vouchers. We liked it and u can get cheese grits on the side. I think there is some continental stuff that is free and other offerings cost. were not given at sign in, but the staff fixed this promptly. -the desk staff were all great - breakfast process was confusing. There is a “pay here” sign at the front desk. So learn from us and go there to put in ur order if u get the breakfast bowls. -breakfast foods were good. We got a few bowls. Especially liked the one with fries, the one with siracha. My daughter loved the fresh toast one and the bowl of chz grits. -city rentable scooters are all over the place. So u can grab ur own set of wheels and head out. -overall we loved our stay. Great staff, great location. Next time we’d opt for the room fee that includes parking which is just out the back door. We’d also use the scooters more Read less
