I live in town and used to refer family and friends there all the time, often paying for the stays myself. Last time, I needed to cancel one of the nights of the room and it was after their 48 hour cancellation deadline. When I called to cancel, they said they would waive the one night's charge since I was a long time member but the charged appeared on my credit card statement anyway. I called to inquire and they said "too bad - you missed the deadline" in contradiction to what they told me over the phone when I called to cancel. Clearly, this left a bad taste in my mouth and I have since sent guests elsewhere (numerous guests actually so they already missed out on a lot of nights and will continue to do so). Separately, my last guests who stayed there complained that the outside air conditioning units are so loud on the southeast part of the building that they couldn't sleep. I walk by there and can attest they are really, really loud. Accordingly, if you are staying there you need to avoid that part of the hotel. Read less

Elegant hotel located across from historic Forsyth Park and a short ride/walk to river street. The staff was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I was in town for business, however, I didn't want to leave my room.

The hotel is filled with beautiful artwork, chandeliers and the bed makes you feel like royalty. Our stay was amazing and would recommend this hotel if you’re going to Savannah! Just know that if you have a room overlooking Forsyth Park, specifically room 227, be aware that the windows are not sound proof and if a wedding party is leaving at midnight, lighting sparkles, you will hear the celebration. The bride and groom were stunning, yes I watched them celebrate their union. I have a video, but couldn’t upload 😀I pray they have a long, healthy relationship filled with respect, great communication and love! Read less

If you would like to treat yourself to a bit of old southern nostalgia and modern accommodations, this is the place to stay. Excellent bar and food venue. Amie, Joel, and Michelle treated us well and kept us entertained. Vintage women's hat collection is worth seeing even if not staying.

I was also surprised to hear dogs barking in the hallway at 11 at night- for a boutique hotel I was surprised that they would allow pets. The next morning I spotted the guest with two dogs on a leash and realized who had made the noise. For a hotel of this caliber to even expose guests to the possibility of being woken up by animals took me by surprise. Other than that the hotel itself is beautiful and they handpicked staff who are extremely cordial very welcoming and well-informed. The rooms are beautiful the mattresses are great and the hallways are lined with beautiful paintings. I did not eat in the restaurant since I was traveling solo and it seemed more setup for romantic dinners so I don't know how good the food is but the lobby and the bar are beautiful and I would definitely go back to stay there again.
