The TRYP Savannah website says that their pet policy is "Service Animals Only -- No Other Pets Allowed". I called the front desk and asked, are pets allowed, and what is the charge. They answered, yes, at $50 per night. I asked, do they have to be service animals and they said no. I called Wyndham customer care, and they said the individual hotel is responsible for their policy (and I guess, the inaccurate information on their website). This is the worse property we have stayed at in many many years. The bathtub drain was stopped up with hair, the tub filled up immediately when the shower was used. Bathroom lavatory drain was plugged as well. The coffee maker was broken and full of water from the people who tried to use it before us. The carpet and tile throughout the room was… Read more
This is the worse property we have stayed at in many many years. The bathtub drain was stopped up with hair, the tub filled up immediately when the shower was used. Bathroom lavatory drain was plugged as well. The coffee maker was broken and full of water from the people who tried to use it before us. The carpet and tile throughout the room was filthy. The commode had black stains in the bowl indicating not much cleaning going on here or anywhere else in the room. We had the ol' do not disturb sign on the door which did not stop the towel service from walking in on us while we were getting dressed. The valet parking ($30 a day) is moot with a city parking garage across the street making the cost a third of valet parking? But the thing that puzzles me the most is Expedia recommended this property. When we approached the front desk about the condition of the room all we got was a Meh! Savannah is a great place to see, just stay elsewhere. Read less

Hotel location is excellent but there is a lot of traffic noise as the freeway coming into the city ends near the hotel. The lobby is appealing and rooms attractive but the beds are very old and inferior and sag under you. Clearly the renovation budget did not cover changing the mattresses.

Great Location in the Historic District. We parked our car in the Public Parking Garage across from the hotel. That was very convenient since valet parking was $30/per day. Room was clean and they serviced the rooms daily.
