My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Our stay was 3/18-3/20 during the convid-19 mess. I can honestly say I've never stayed at a place that was so well kept. The front desk agent was absolutely wonderful. She was running the property by herself. She took the best care of us that she possibly could. Seeing as most of the restaurants and… Read more

The front desk agent was absolutely wonderful. She was running the property by herself. She took the best care of us that she possibly could. Seeing as most of the restaurants and shops were closed, we spent a good bit of our time just having conversations with her. I would also like to say, the bed in our room was amazing. My husband has a lot of trouble with his back and often times doesnt sleep throughout the night. This was the first time in years he was able to sleep without waking randomly. This was definitely a 10/10 experience for us. We are already looking forward to our next trip back. Read less

Very nice hotel. Very good location. Parking is a hassle but that is so throughout Savannah. Be prepared to do a lot of walking or take one of the tours. Our only real complaint was the construction across the street. DO NOT take a room across from the construction. They start at 7am every morning.l

We were able to check-in 2 hours early, our room was clean with all the amenities, large tv with plenty of channels, a mini fridge, a Keurig coffee pot, a fully stocked bathroom, and VERY comfortable beds. The walls are well insulated, as there was no noise heard during the night. The hotel has a parking garage right across the street for $15/day. It is centrally located between River Street and Forsyth Park. We will definitely stay here again and recommend TRYP to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Savannah. Read less

We had stayed at this location 6yrs ago and loved it but now it had changed names and management. We had high expectations due to our previous stay 6yrs previous but with the name change everything else had changed. First , the night clerk told us we could get coffee across the street. Mind you there was construction with a fence across the street. But up in our room was a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods. Second, I asked what time was breakfast, he said that we had to pay separate for it as it was not included. The hotel had added a bar but they did not offer a Happy Hour. Third, we rose early to get to Mrs Wilkes for breakfast in the rain, asked the front desk for directions to where we were going and was told to hurry as they fill up quickly. Got to Mrs. WIlkes only to find out that they opened for Lunch not breakfast. There was no phone number to call and the hotel didn't know this information? Fourth, returned on our last day tired and thirsty to find our room key didn't work and the ice machine was empty. Lastly, requested a wake up call twice but never got it. Happy I set my cell phone to wake us up or we would have missed our train. The soaps and shampoos they place in guests bathrooms smell like rotten eggs. Everything is labeled BIO. Hotel is clean, but they should hire a concierge and or train front desk staff. Don't think we will be staying here again. Read less
