I expected better. Cleanliness and service level needed improvement. The valet was awesome though!!!

The hotel was clean and the walk wasn’t too bad to city market. Valet parking is 7am-11pm and cost $30 (not sure if it’s nightly only stayed one night). There is a parking garage directly across the street for $25. Overall the hotel was nice and clean. I will definitely book here again it was worth the price.
What a great place to stay. We were passing through the area and wanted to find a nice place to stay. Based upon all of the reviews, it seems that this was a great place that would be right down town. As with other travelers, we decided to park at the parking garage just across the way. The room was very nice and the folks at the front desk were…

Only clean on the surface

The stay was terrible. There's nowhere to pull in and check in unless you use the valet parking ($30/night), and the parking across the street is less than half the price. The maintenance in the building was very poor. The first room's door lock was dead, and the second room had a plumbing problem that caused water under the bathroom floorboards…

The maintenance in the building was very poor. The first room's door lock was dead, and the second room had a plumbing problem that caused water under the bathroom floorboards that squished through when stepped on. The whole room stunk. The front desk staff were the only good thing about the property.

We arrived late afternoon due to traffic issues, parked in the garage across the street (literally <100ft) for $6 per night. Greeted warmly at the door by the valet parking gentleman, entered and greeted by a very friendly woman who welcomed while checking us in. She was efficient, gave local information including a recommendation to eat at the Public Restaurant (within walking distance). It had phenomenal food and service! We had a King bed room which was nicely appointed, very clean and she accommodated our request to move to a higher floor with no issue. Each time we came and went we were greeted/welcomed back. Great stay! Our son has stayed there before and my wife and I a couple of times as we are passing through. Each time, Tryp at Savannah has been a great experience as to quality of accommodation and excellence in personal customer service. Tryp is located perfectly for walking to shops, restaurants, parks, transportation and the Visitor's Center. Stay here and decide for yourself. Be Blessed!
