This is a fantastic hotel right on Bourbon Street. While the street is raucous the hotel is a haven of calm. Bedrooms are comfortable. Valet parking is expensive but after careful research it’s the best option. Towels provided by the pool which although small, is very nice.

I’ve always wanted a balcony room in the French Quarter and we decided this would be the year. We read reviews and chose this hotel for location and booked room overlooking Toulouse street. It was great! Private, comparatively quiet and fun. The rooms overlooking bourbon look great for people watching but they are large shared balconies. We didn’t want to deal with neighbors on the balconies, though we did hope to gain access one night and were denied (access only allowed through guest rooms). Overall service was great but wish they had offered coffee service day/night. Read less

Rooms were nice and the balcony was great. Was able to see a lot of strange and fun things going on down below on Bourbon. The advantage of having a balcony room is you don't have to go down to the street to have a good time!

So there is no doubt this is a great location if you want to explore the French quarter and experience Bourbon street. Yes as some reviewers note, its noisy, but that is Bourbon street. So there is no doubt this is a great location if you want to explore the French quarter and experience Bourbon street. Yes as some reviewers note, its noisy, but that is Bourbon street. The noise is loud, and at some point becomes white noise and i was able to sleep fine. The bed was incredibly comfy. The room was clean though the toiletries were not what i expected staying at a Sheraton. The pool was small but pretty. BUT... i booked a room with balcony. No where did it say a 'shared balcony'. So there were 4 rooms all emptying to the same balcony. Which may have been fine, but two of these rooms were hosting a wedding, so at one point Saturday night during my stay there were 30 plus people on our balcony. So folks in rooms that did not pay for a balcony used mine and smoked like chimneys. We ordered room service, and after the person took my order, she finally threw in at the very end 'oh, by the way, this isn't room service, you have to walk downstairs and get your to go order'. But the breakfast was yummy. Don't call the menu in the room room service though, call it to go. And the two above points could have been overlooked and forgotten, but the day of check out, after requesting late check out and having it confirmed as 2 pm house keeping banged on our door at 8:30 in the AM. Then dragged wrought iron tables around on the balcony and rattled one off our balcony door. Maybe okay, but then they BANGED again at noon, telling me it was check out time as they tried to push the door open (piss off, thank you security latch). Those three items are not the level of service i'm used to from a Sheraton. As an elite BONVoY member i expect a certain level of attention to detail. 1. Changed the reservation page to state 'some balconies shared' 2. Change the menu in room to 'to go', or at least have the person state it right up front 3. Not sure where communication failed, but house keeping should have a list of late check outs, and should NEVER ignore the piss off leave us alone sign cause they want to get the rooms turned over. The hotel was in a great location. Brandie at the front desk was wonder. The bathroom space in the room was too tight, and the housekeeper for our room was a no show. Whenever I saw her she was on her phone. Our room only got cleaned after I went to the front desk to complain about it.
