We booked a trip to Four Points Shearaton in New Orleans for week of March 16-24 before there was a Global Pandemic. We cancelled on 3/14 & they are giving us a run around on our refund. Our traveling companions received their refund on 3/26, we still have not received our money back. $2800.00 approximately. We are so angry & will not stay there… Read more

They say they can't find our reservation, etc. I am furious! Don't book here, its not a properly functioning business. Read less

My husband and I went to NOLA for Mardi Gras. We knew Bourbon Street would very rambunctious and rowdy for the week, but were excited to stay on Bourbon for the experience. The staff at Four Points were ready and well-prepared to deal with every situation that could come up. Wrist bands were worn by us guests for the entirety of our stay to ensure that only hotel patrons could enter during this time. This ensured that there were plenty of services available us when they were needed, such as restrooms, and a table at the bar downstairs, which, by the way had GREAT food. A couple of stand-outs were Allen, who helped us numerous times with information and navigating through the 'crazy', and Shantel, who ensured a smooth transition from leaving the hotel to go to a ball, then coming in early the next morning. We have stayed at the Four Points before, and it sure is nice to see many of the same folks who have been there for quite some time. Kudos to these awesome folks for ensuring our stay was enjoyable and very memorable! Read less

As others have stated - fantastic location! Right in the middle of Bourbon Street and deep in the heart of the French Quarter. You're a 10 minute walk from the riverfront, Jackson Square, and St Louis Cemetery #1. We stayed in a balcony room overlooking Toulouse St and it was a happy medium. We could see (kinda) and hear Bourbon St but when we shut the doors it was a tolerable noise level. They DO provide ear plugs in the room, but we're accustomed to city noises like music, car horns, and the occasional banshee wail so it wasn't an issue for us. The hotel itself is hard-worn. I dont want to think about the amount and quality of use these rooms see, but aside from the frayed carpet and slightly mouldy showers, everything is functional and comfortable. We did find the maid service to be a little odd - they came by and gave us fresh towels each day (which were thick and fluffy), but they don't do anything in the guest room like vacuum or make beds. All in all, an excellent choice if your intent is to stay close to the Bourbon Street action. Read less

While the location is great and Nesty is a wonderful concierge, this hotel is all about the turnover of rooms! Doesn't matter to them what time you arrived or from what time zone. The vacuuming begans in the hallway outside your door just after 8 a.m. prompting you to get up and get out!
