The hotel

A huge hotel that’s big on style, all guestrooms are spacious and superbly furnished in a contemporary style. Before exploring, why not check out what’s available on-site. Where is it

In the heart of Downtown New Orleans, a 20-min walk to the French Quarter and all major attractions, including the Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square. The Loyola Avenue Streetcar passes directly in front of the hotel or take a walk to the Arts District, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and, of course, the lovely Mississippi Riverfront.

I have been here for 4 nights on work travel. Let me say, the beds are so comfortable that I had to google where the bedding and pillows are from. I absolutely want to buy the pillows for home. I have been here for 4 nights on work travel. Let me say, the beds are so comfortable that I had to google where the bedding and pillows are from. I absolutely want to buy the pillows for home. Service was top notch, but DENNIS was the true star of this operation for me. On Saturday morning he showed the kindest gesture. It felt like God smiled on me. The food was absolutely delicious from our work reception, to the oyster salad at the restaurant, and finally the amazing chia seed pudding at breakfast. I look forward to staying at this location in future trips to New Orleans. Highly recommend for large scale conferences. Our conference had over 300 attendees and we had a phenomenal experience exploring local walkable amenities and restaurants. The view from the gym is also top notch. Read less

For the price, I expected much more in my room. There was no microwave and had to go across the building to warm my daughter's breakfast. Also the late night menu for room service was very very very limited. I stay every Bayou Classic! The North wing is a great view of the square and Superdome. But the Hyatt itself around this time is always a vibe of service, cleanliness and welcoming. The decorations were beautiful. Go Jags! 50th

The rooms are very small, took a long time for the hot water to work. Didn’t get daily housekeeping. Location was good. 2 blocks form a grocery store. The hotel is very nice from the moment you walk in but the small oil didn’t meet my expectations.
