After informing them that I didn't think it was fair and that I made that request in advance, I should have been informed at that time. However, they did move me into another room the next day. It was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay there. Read less

Rooms are “average” compared to rest of hotel. No Cold running water from faucets ..sink and shower. Had to brush teeth with hot water and hard to regulate temp in shower. Poor water pressure. Good location but close to a condemned building full of aspestos

I flew in for my brothers funeral and had problems with the check in. Apparently Hotwire booking is not managing their e-mail bookings very well. I had reservations at a different hotel but when I arrive I found out it was a motel. That is when I went online to find a hotel. I requested a two night stay just like I did at the other facility. Saturday night and Sunday night. Checking out Monday morning. When I got to the hotel to check in I was told that I was going to be charged for Friday night being that I would be checking in before 3pm. Please keep in mind I do not travel so I have no need to get lodging at hotels. So I was charged for three nights. There was an Asian lady who checked me in and was very helpful in getting me in contact with a live person from hotwire. I explained the situation with the lady over the phone and told her I did not request a Friday night stay, only Saturday and Sunday. I clearly remember the lady telling that I would not be charged for Friday and she would do a extension for my stay. Clearly that was not the case. The financial strain of having to spend another $150.00 for a nights say was not in the budget at all. That $150.00 was for my food and transportation. Needless to say, I was very hungry while being in New Orleans. . At first I thought it was the hotel that was not doing right by me, but after further research it was Hotwire who did not disclose everything about the check in and being charged even though I did not stay at the hotel Friday night. Can you supply a number so I can speak with someone about getting a refund for the night I did not stay at the Hyatt. It was dishonest and not right. Even after I explained I was there for my brothers funeral there was no compassion what so ever. I will never use this service again and I feel I was taken advantage of due to the situation. I was going to post my experience on my social media sites but decided to wait on the outcome of a refund. Respectfully, Maurice M. Betz (757)713-2314 Read less

Real nice hotel. Perfect if ur going to a event at super dome... just walk across the parking lot. Many resturants and bars but stay out of the seafood restaurant, absolutely horrible You can walk to French quarter in 20 minutes
