Le Meridien New Orleans

New Orleans, Louisiana

Virgin rating

The hotel

Deep in downtown, Le Méridien New Orleans presents The Big Easy in all its glitzy glory. After a mega-million dollar refit, it mixes the city’s refined style and sense of fun, with pops of yellow and blue, music-inspired accessories, and reflections of New Orleans in its photography. Location’s key of course – it’s just 100 metres from Bourbon Street and Harrah’s Casino, and 300 metres from the French Quarter. And they’ve teamed up with The Sweat Social to bring you running tours, Priority Bicycles to offer bike hire, and three incredible art museums to give you complimentary entry. Returning to base, you can swim in the rooftop pool, dine on Deep South inspired dishes at LMNO, and take time out in The Hub – a café-come-bar with complimentary WiFi, a New American menu, and an evening aperitif hour featuring sparkling cocktails.

Mayra at the bar was great! Amazing customer service! Not only was she friendly, but the drinks were on spot. If I ever come back I'll look for Mayra! The hotel is nice. Need ice machine on their floors but other than that, it was a great stay!!!!

Ji was amazing! He served all drinks with love. I enjoyed the best Negroni and aeperol spritz courtesy of him! Other than him the rooms were mediocre. Comforters were dirty and the space was very tight.. they have this new program that is not fully launched that causes confusion. But Ji was helpful in getting us the help we needed

Jihad was a good bartender. It was fun watching him work. Service was a little slow when the bar was full but drinks were cold and he was very friendly. He never stopped working the whole time I was sitting at the bar. The bar was in tip top shape and everything was ready for the night.

Erika and Jihad are AMAZING. Jihad was so attentive to our group for post-workday drinks, and Erika remembered the coffee order for myself and a co-worker without us having to ask … which was the definition of above and beyond. Huge thanks to them for making our stay fantastic!
