Have stayed here many times over the past and never disappointed. This stay was only for one night to attend a wine dinner. As a local we always enjoy our visits to the French Quarter and the Royal Sonesta. Parking was much better, not as chaotic. Hotel was impeccable as usual. Our room was perfect. I went to the Royal Sonesta for dinner. This is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean, modern and very nicely done! There’s a jazz bar, PJ’s Coffee, oyster bar and Restaurant R’evolution all on premises. The staff were welcoming as well. There’s a lovely courtyard in the middle of the property, and the hotel itself is located right smack dab in the middle… Read more

Room location was great… Read more

This hotel and their Personnel who work there, from Bell-men, housekeeping and front desk are so kind and attentive. Beautiful hotel from the lobby, hallways and in your room are all very clean. Pool is a perfect touch! Stay here! We had a side balcony, with double French doors facing Benville Street from our room. About mid-way from Bourbon Street. Glad we didn't have a Bourbon Street facing balcony, too loud! Still could hear into the wee hrs of the morning, but not bad. Read less

The hotel staff really went beyond what was expected or necessary to make our stay special. My wife is very particular about hotels ( and doesn't mind telling me about things that she thinks could be done better). All she could do was talk about how great everything was, and how she felt that " she was at home". She even told me she wanted to BUY… Read more
