We just got back from a wonderful visit and this hotel was perfect for our needs. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself was clean, bright, and pretty. The location is close enough to walk to almost anything, and far enough from Bourbon street that you're away from loud noises and music all night. Overall we… Read more

It was a decently priced hotel for the location but they could definitely use some more enthusiastic cleaning people. We stayed from Thur. night to Sun. morning and never had the cleaning crew in once

The hotel is old and it definitely shows it's age. We were placed in a room that had no cold water. The staff were kind enough to change our room. The second room was much nicer than the first in both furnishings and size. The hotel was conveniently located to the French Quarter. For the price of the stay, there are much nicer hotels, that have the old world charm of New Orleans. I would consider this hotel a 3 star hotel at best. Read less

The front desk staff was very friendly. The Groom had somewhat of a smell to it and the bed was hard. Found roaches in the bathroom. Having said that location was great. The main lobby was very clean.

If you are looking for close, this is the place. Short walk to great restaurants, Casino, Canal St. to catch the Trolley, WWII Museum, Bourbon St. and of course "shopping". A Hotel with plenty of style!
